- I saw a for sale sign outside this house and though that I could help them sell it. I knocked on the door and offered to clean up their driveway completely FREE. They said that the house just went on the market that afternoon. This driveway and walkway was super dirty, but I blasted all the dirt and grime off to reveal a nice, clean result.

This is the same thing I did before we sold our house. Driveway, sidewalk and steps! Our house ended up with 18 offers under 20 hours! It always helps for a good power washing!
Hey Spencer..bc of you I was inspired to pressure wash my 70+ yr old neighbor and his wife’s driveway and sidewalk which was so black 🤮while they were outta state for 4 days. Boy were they ever surprised and grateful 👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼🇺🇸 I’m a 57 yr old lady and love your channels. I watch both and look forward to each Wednesday and Fridays post.

This is great. When I was buying a new home, the first view of the front yard was where I (rightly or wrongly) judged if people looked after their house.
If you are in an area where driveways and sidewalks get this dark, and moss grows on the roof, you should definitely consider getting them cleaned before you worry about repainting walls . Realtors sometimes suggest planting flowers to improve the curb appeal, but good maintenance is more important to many buyers.
I found this, randomly, and honestly can’t believe I sat and watched the whole video through. It was SO SATISFYING seeing the years of dirt and grime so meticulously and carefully washed away. Props to you, man, it looked a million times better at the end! ❤

If I were those house owners, I'd insist on paying him at least something. I'd be ashamed for not rewarding all his hard work. This is amazingly done. I don't think we realise how dirty things are and how meticulously he's been working for, I'd say, quite a long time.

I love the older homes because their sidewalks and porches were done when it was more common to have a cement that had a yellow look to them. After these are pressure washed, they really have a nicer outcome to me personally than just the plain. This was a great transformation and really brings up the curb appeal.

I Love visiting Southern UT you see how they used the Red Sand for a lot of different things. In cement, "brick" walls even in staining fabrics! My daughter has taken ownership of 1 of My favorite sweatshirts from The Moab Jeep Safari from like 25 Year's ago. It still has the Redrock stain.

It is really important to make a house that is for sale look its best when it goes on the market and even a rental too. You provided a valuable service to those people that day. They were so lucky that you stopped by their home. Timing is everything.

I was watching a series on Abode, "Unsellables" for a while. One of the points they got across was that people often make their decision whether to look or buy in the first few seconds of seeing a house. They are in part unconciously noticing details that indicate whether the home was cared for, as mowed lawns, trimmed bushes and certainly something as whether the paving areas are bright. So your gift today, of time and skill was an important as well as kind one. A well presented home, neat on the inside as well, can sell rapidly, as within days or weeks. This has an excellent "warm entryway" look now and the edging increased a sharp look.

Where I live houses sell without viewings. Most houses have the For Sale sign put up with the SOLD sticker already attached. Everything here gets bought up, houses knocked down, subdivided into 3 or 4 properties and then sold as vacant lots. No bargains anymore.

Good option - link up with the realty agents who are selling houses ... and offer to do their concrete ... and hopefully with the increased sales price and selling speed ... they would be grateful and drop a gratuity into your pocket ... and the community would continually start looking lighter and brighter ....

That looked like a full days work and you did it for free.not many people can afford to work for free.your generosity is amazing .
I get how people see this as being free. Same with Spencer’s other lawn mowing channel. But remember this is CZcams, videos earn money. And whilst yes he hasn’t charged the homeowners for the cleaning, he has recorded it and uploaded it to his channel. Currently this video has over 600,000 views since uploading about a month ago (at time of writing). That equates to roughly 21,000 views per day, which has the potential to earn him $10,000-18,000 per year for this one video. And he’s got lots of these videos on this channel and his more popular mowing channel.
So yes it’s very kind of him to do work like this for these people and the other work he’s done on his mowing channel. But it’s not charity. He’s not doing this purely out of kindness, it’s a business. Every job he does “for free” earns him money, in fact it’s better than your average lawn and driveway guy because since he records his work and uploads the videos- one job, one driveway clean or one garden clearance will keep earning him money till either CZcams goes under or his channel goes under.
So as kind as his work like this is in some ways, it’s not charity. It’s a business.

I posted this on the other channel. Sometimes I wish you go at normal speed instead of fast motion. Much more relaxing and satisfying. I watch right before going to sleep since I have trouble sleeping. It really helps, in a good way. The Boring Channel does it at regular speed.
