Merry Christmas from NZ Metodi! Totally agree with you regarding oils, I use almost nothing else these days.
This man is COMPLETELY above any modeler on earth! Unbelievable skill.
merry christmas yourself and I am loving the knowledge you are showing us,
Merry Christmas Metodi! Thanks for the awesome video it is a good Christmas present :)
Lol those crickets.. it does feel that way sometimes but we’re all listening attentively. Have you ever built a Semi truck? Would like to see your take on a custom semi truck. Great job!
Thanks mate, sometimes I have not much more to say but something to show so ... crickets :) I haven't tried a semi, have build some cars and have some more in the stash.
Nice video. Good format: in a short video we can see a lot of things. It focuses to the essentials 😊👍🏻 and the result is impressive!
Greetings my friend, the Invader is looking fantastic, I thought the instrument panel was outstanding, I look forward to the next episode, I hope you and your family have a Safe and Happy New Year, very best regards from Australia.
This video is going to be very helpful to me as I hope I have this one for Christmas and a very happy Christmas to you 🌲👍
Great work, great sequence and fantastic commentary. Thank you, job brilliantly done. Happy New Year to you and your viewers!
I think what gave you problems with the HS chipping was the layer of Mr Surfacer you put over the silver paint. Great work regardless! Next time I would only use paint over the layer with hairspray you intend to chip.
Maybe, but I have done the exact same thing without issues.... the issue is that the paint changes quite a lot between silver and black base coat.
Such a shame that most of that will be hidden 😕 Great work, though! Merry Christmas, enjoy your time off!
Hello. Well done 👍. Do you know that Ammo Mig Gimenez make a new special paint especially made just for the drybrushess ? Dio dry brush it is the name. And you have all the colors possible. Excuse me but the English language is not my motherlangegeese I'm not sure of the orthographe) but I have BYU one kit and after just the gun color in dry brush. Marvelous color. I'm not BYU to tell you that. Just the painter are really pigmentation and how to tell you concentrate yes that the good word. I'm really satisfied by it. And you can look at CZcams fews videos og mig Gimenez who show how make in practice this painting just for drybrushing. Have a great day. And thanks for the partage ( too give youres videos visible for everyone). Big up to you. I watch many videos of you. And nicht shift and plasmo. But also too plastic dream because he's french. Eh yes
Thank you for your kind words. I haven't used the drybrushing specific paints as i am pretty happy with the oils. With that said I should give them a try just for the experiment.
Looks beautiful. Thanks, a great episode. To be honest, I had no idea that you discovered oil paints for yourself only now. Use them all the time, they will prove to be an excellent adition. By the way, is there an ICM Bronco in your plans?
Thanks mate, I probably did not express myself properly. I haven't used oils for drybrushing before. for other tasks I use them for many years. No at this point not. I have plenty of other kits.
Dude, not a fella and I've been making plastic models for over 20 years.
This looks amazing. I am curious, though. How many weeks does it take for you to complete a model of this size and detail level?
Thanks mate! Well, I have started this build on the 1st of March '21 and I am probably half way there. I have built a few other kits in the mean time but it is safe to say the tally will be no less than 8 months. Silly stuff :)
That is an insanely long time. I told my wife that I wished I had your patience and attention to detail. You make it look so easy. I just want to see my models finished. 😉
Thanks again, I have always had this style of building. Now on CZcams it appears to be the wrong way judging by what people preffer to watch. Not that I am going to change my ways but I find this quite strange. Anyhow I am very very glad that there are people that share my passion and find my work useful and/or entertaining 😀
@@MMScaleModels I find your work fascinating and extremely useful. Please don't change a thing.
Takes me long enough as it is to complete a model, so I never paint what won't be seen, neither do I glue in parts that won't be seen.
...нафига писать заголовок на русском языке,если вещать собираешься на буржуйской мове?...
Ahh yes. The classic wrist yoga while painting fine details lol. Fine work on this build it’s going to be awesome
Thanks mate, appreciated 👍
