Honestly, Tywin was the best King and he never even sat on the iron throne. He ruled the seven kingdoms from the background.
He's better than many other characters like janos slynt, ramsay, etc. He atleast had the premonition that daenerys can be a threat worth fearing, unlike his egoistic grandpa.
It's quite ironic although Joffrey had the worst traits of a person yet he was still the best king out of the others, Tommen was too weak, Robert gave a rats ass about ruling and just laid back and drank. Cersei was almost the same way expect she didn't care about anyone or anything anymore. Even though he grew intollerable you have to admit, he got shit done when it was needed to be done. He even wanted to do something about Dany out east but Tywin didn't listen. Even the High Sparrow feared coming into the city until he was dead. The death of Joffrey was the death of King's Landing.

A character who I loved hating on. A really good character that was dangerous for others while still being entertaining, that put pressuring circumstances on others without having to constrain the plot until it felt dumb or out of character

I honestly felt bad for Joffrey, I get he was a tyrant, but his smack talk and the way he held himself so highly was pathetic. Had he been raised and disciplined properly, it would've saved a lot of people, including his own mother, some grief.
