With the launch of 4.8, I wanted to make a PvP video again to show you guys how I'm playing with the few changes to chanters. In my opinion there are no bad things that have happened but then again, other classes got boosted too.
I didn't find any success at fighting templars that are somehow geared and know what they are doing. It's either me kiting in block-set forever or getting facerolled by them.
I found more success by using Soul-Lock instead of Splash-Swing (even tho the cooldown got reduced) since you don't have to place certain stigmas to be able to have blue/gold stigmas available. Altough I dont have the vision-stigma unlocked yet, I think its poop compared to what other classes have.
What you see in the video is me pretty much from the first day of the update until now (11 days of recording).
Even tho the new maps seem nice for PvP, I'm usually getting run over by groups in the more populated areas or I spend a lot of time running around in the other areas to find one person that doesn't want to PvP or is hugging guards, but thats just Aion.

Wuy are u using TU weapon all the Time, katalium staff got better stats and a lot more Potential dmg so wuy no katalium ore something like this ?
I never bothered to get the katalium staff. I tried farming for the upgraded version of Runadium but never got it.
I'm looking to go back to Aion, would anyone recommend the Chanter?

+Panicz Roz Macc is for bigger chance of stun with skills, or stumble. Accurancy help hit with normal skilss, macc with this specail and because chanter rly need to take enemies to the ground its rly important stat.
+Kacper Ziętek more normal accuracy is used mostly for pve :) ( sorry for duble post and bad english )

Sooo... Chanter is not a bad class, right? I am a chanter and sometimes I think that my class is weak and that I have the weakest class from my group (we have an assasin, a mage and a bard) I know that the most important thing to decide whether the class is weak or not is your skill while playing with it, but....
If youre playing with these classes you've mentioned above, you'll not be the one with the most damage output. In a group, chanter is playing the support role. If youre going full dps tree in a group, youre missing all the opportunities of supporting your group. Going dps only makes sense if youre pvp'ing alone or running duo.

Chanter as a group support is totally outclassed in pvp by double cleric or cleric + bard duos now, so whenever i play in a group i'm always dps spec. You lack dps a lot, my no crit dmg are higher than your crit damages tbh thats why you feel like you're useless in group. I'm always the 2nd best dps in pvp groups after glads cuz no1 focus chanter so you're free to make them taste your stick for the whole fight.

I'm using the leather set for magic suppression against magic classes since the chain version doesn't have as much magic suppression as the leather one :)

Sigh... if only our NA servers had players as clean as yours, it would be the perfect world. Unfortunately, it's filled with rampant hackers that will typically wipe you out in 3s even with your gear and play style LOL
When people play games and zoom out all the way it makes the game look like shit
this stats ... new Aion sucks I have 1.4 attack and 1.350 crit .. only with 65lvl gear i would be So Op in the Good Aion Versions Lol
