X-Sense SSC0A | The surveillance camera with solar panel and battery in a short review

- We've already had a few surveillance cameras here on the channel, from outside to inside, from wireless via PoE. Now a manufacturer that I previously only knew for its networked smoke detectors has also brought out a security camera that networks a WLAN battery-powered camera with a solar panel for relatively little money and can therefore be operated wirelessly in the garden or around the house.
The device has a 1080p resolution and can be installed in a more weatherproof location with IP65 protection. Night vision, 2-way audio, AI motion detection and optional cloud storage are just as much a matter of course as app integration into the X-Sense app. Especially if you already have networked smoke detectors from X-Sense in use, the new camera may be a good addition.

Auf jeden Fall eine interessante Lösung, wenn man eh schon Geräte des Herstellers einsetzt.
Die Kombinierbarkeit in der App finde ich durchaus auch interessant.
Interessant, dass X-Sense da jetzt auch in neue Bereich vordringt.
Ja, finde ich auch. Wobei ich nach Rauchmeldern nicht als nächstes auf eine Kamera getippt hätte...aber sie hatten ja vorher auch nicht ausschließlich Rauchmelder.

Korrekt. Die Optik reiht sich ein in das Kamera Allerlei
Wird sich zeigen müssen, ob der Akku dann auch im Winter hält.
Ja, der Winter könnte wegen geringem Sonnenlicht eine Herausforderung werden.
Warum hat man die Kamera weiß und das Panel schwarz gemacht?
Denke das wird damit zu haben, dass Solarpanele ja grundsätzlich dunkel gehalten sind. Kamera wird dann vermutlich Hitzegründe haben. Aber das ist nur meine These.
Testest Du auch noch die vernetzten Rauchmelder der neuen Generation?
Ich möchte nicht vorgreifen, aber evtl kommt da die kommenden Wochen was...
Schade, dass hier auch Funktionen in den kostenpflichtigen Bereich geschoben werden.
Absolut, finde ich auch etwas unglücklich. Wobei die Frage ist, ob man bei einer Kamera mit diesem Preis diese Features dann kostenlos erwarten darf.
Bildqualität ist aus meiner Sicht gerade so ok...
Für den Preis finde ich sie in Ordnung. Man darf das Bild halt nicht mit Kameras >100 Euro vergleichen.
Der Scheinwerfer macht es in Kombi mit dem Preis durchaus interessant.
Das ist in der Preisklasse in jedem Fall nicht Standard, ja
