This collection of comics aling with Nightmare Asylum will always have a special place in my heart as these were the first Alien comics I got as a kid so most definitely I would love to see a version of this story. Or even to have something like the xenomorph and protomorph go at it like we were supposed to get in Alien Covenant.

there is, there called the k series, all I know is that they appeared in AVP extinction and were a product of weyland yutanis experiments and like the red xenos, hate the original xenos.

The red and yellow Xenomorphs from the expanding universe are interesting breed of these Alien I wonder if there's any blue or green Xenomorphs cross your fingers till that will happen.
The vast majority of those 'variants' aren't cinematic canon. Pretty much all the 'EU' is contradictory and incompatible with the films. Those who try to make sense of it, don't.

I would like to see a Red Xenomorph in a actual film where it not only replaces the regular "Black" Xenomorph as the main villain, but it will also cause both the regular Black Xenomorphs and the Humans to put aside their differences and join forces and above all battle against their common Red Xenomorph enemies.

It would be very interesting to see a movie or a show displaying the xenomorph civil war. It is very similar to spotted hyena clans. They have a matriarch system. If their queen dies, and her daughter is not ready to take the throne, then her lieutenants will fight to claim the throne for their own.

Soposedly the humnas kidnaped or origanl queen mother in the xeno prime. Since the leader was missing the hive made the effort to replace her, but the one group of papaltine (elite drone guardians) created a separated queen mother which was born red and there the rest is in the comics.

From mammals , like an K9 or Feline , Alien 3 they're way faster then the Black Xenomorph and ran on all 4s . That what i assumed the canon was atleast. I miss the AVP universe thank ridley scott for killing that awesome universe 😑

Where the comics based on the books or the books on the comics? I have only recently begun reading the books in their Omnibus format and never read the comics.
The original books were adaptations of the comics. The current lot of novels and comics aren't connected by the same writers.
It's all different takes on the same universe. The Dark Horse was crazy fun.
Not totally sure but the comic was done in the 90's as I had this collection when I was kid so it's possible the comics for this story came first or was done along side it.
