    1. Where do you live? I currently reside in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
    2. Where are you from? I was born in the Philippines, but raised in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

    4. Why "September Stories"? I'm named after a month in which I'm not born, and people find that weird, so here I renamed myself after the actual month I was born lol

    Hi, I wanted to tell you that it's not what's happening in your life that is causing you to feel depressed but what you're telling yourself about that what's happening. Your emotions are directly caused by your thoughts. I recommend reading Albert Ellis or any REBT based psychology. Michael R. Edelstein has a good book called Three Minute Therapy. He also has a CZcams Channel of the same name I think.

      I really appreciate the recommendation!! Totally agree that our emotions are directly caused by our thoughts. In this video I mentioned how therapy helped me understand why I felt depressed. A huge part of that process was articulating the narrative I'm telling myself, so I can be mindful if I'm catastrophizing. I'll definitely look into that book!
