I like it, I've got one on order myself. There are some minor things I wish they had done to make him more ride accurate. The price could seem a little high for a basic animatronic but for that price for a home-version of an iconic old-school Disney ride animatronic isn't bad. Adding a shaking motor would be a nice touch. I think what makes the Caretaker so iconic and easily recognizable is that he really hasn't changed much in 50 years.
I bought one today in Irvine Ca. The store was out of stock, the manager said they only get 1 big truck load of stuff and that’s all. He also said the resellers who flip them and Disney fans come the day they arrive and clean them out. They let me buy the display model thankfully.
I have this animatronic. You’re absolutely right about the audio! My hope was to have him not make noise but just pan back and forth constantly. I clipped one speaker wire to end the audio but do you have tips/advice to keep him moving so it’s not reliant on the sensor/push button? Great video!
Any chance you could share the instructions from this animatronic? I bought a floor demo from Lowe’s and didn’t get a set. Will you be posting a video of the shaking motor mod?
This is really good tbh,, i think for more accuracy to the ride it should have had head turning instead of arm movement, but that honestly doesnt bother me too much, and actually it looks a lot better with the bent arm Honestly i dont get the wide-spread disappointment with this, its pretty solid, love the audio, overpiced yes but aside from that its great and likely a pick up for me
What do YOU think of the Haunted Mansion Caretaker from Lowes? 🎃
AOK
It's so ugly
Tbh I really like him
He is so cool. Tbh he is my favorite prop for 2023

I’m still so confused why they picked this of all things from HM to make a prop out of
Because he’s a pretty iconic character in the ride. 🤷🏻♂️
If I buy the haunted mansion caretaker I also plan to hopefully add a shaking motor as well👻😱

I'd like to see how you add the shaking motor, I'd like to add that to mine as well. Also, where do you get the shaking motors from?

3:41 That's what she said...
Nah you dirty.
Does it have a sensor to turn on by itself or is it just the try me botton?
This prop has a sound sensor to trigger it or the optional try me button
I went on the lowes site on Saturday and it said it was sold out
He’s growing on me
Are you not a gemmy collector anymore
