The Tank size is around 1500-1750
Edit: Normally the Drop-Tank, Porta-Tank, Pool, Etc. holds the same capacity as the Tanker itself so in Tanker Shuttle operations the Tanker can Dump its full tank into the Porta-Tank and leave to refill
I love the new station it has such a small town feel. The old station two was surrounded by buildings and stores, not to mention to sheriff office. While this station is in grapeseed

That tanker is fire, I also have a question can you do a review of your apparatus that you have in all
I just wanted to throw my two cents into the tender ops (you prob already have tonnes). Being an engine/tanker hybrid and being only single axle it would put it at the lower end of the capacity; 2,100 would be very close to the max limit of the axle depending on the gear in the cabinets. The The port-a-tank (pool) is held in a hydraulic holder that actually comes down to the side of the truck that makes it easier (and safer) to grab/lift it out of the holder. I do know it does not matter what it looks like (the fact that they can be 'placed' is amazing in itself) it does look like the tank could hold two of the truck... but looks can be deceiving. Side note: with the tanks on the truck itself would hold the whole truck no matter what so you can dump and go and do water operations. Nice thought with not opening/releasing the drain, most department would prob just dump the water and call for salt/sand to be put on the road. You could 'recycle' the water and put whatever was remaining back in the truck (would come down to departmental policy). All in all, its a game and you can make it whatever you want to be. Keep up the entertainment! Is a great joy to watch!

My department irl has a Pumper tanker and we love that thing.
I think the word you are looking for from 3:14-3:20 is Tingen sure it might sound weird but this is a real thing, my fire department is planning on getting one in a few years, it will hold 3000 Gal of water, and has the crosslathes, I'm not sure if they are putting a deck gun on it, we first have to get our new engine which just got started getting built. (P.s. A Tanker is the same as Tinder, just one is county and the other one is city. Tanker is city, and Tinder is county, for me where I live.

I love the tanker but one problem is that one, We would never use water on a Tanker fire, and Two we would not deploy a dump tank for that even if we did use water unless it got out of control starting a brush fire, maybe then.
That's how your department probably handles it, yep. Not always everywhere else, though.

Is deploying a pool a new thing for a fire tanker? When I took the course at the volunteer FD near me you would just connect directly to the tanker. I have never seen this before.
Drop tanks / pools have been around for a few decades now, yeah. There's certain uses for them, but not always needed. In this case, the tanker could drop the water and leave to go get more, leaving a full water supply on scene and coming back ready with another, and that supply could be drafted in the meantime.

Well, Tanker was supposed to be use in a Brush Fire and Forest Fire. And when it dump water into the pool, all the water in the tank empty out. But it's Cool to have tanker in SA'F. Nice
No? That's highly inaccurate. Maybe that's ONE use for them, but as a real firefighter, our tanker in my rural department was used to supply engines and ladders for ALL types of fires, including commercial and residential, where hydrants don't exist.

When we deploy our porta-tank or pool, we just use the hard suction to get the water back in the rig.

Nice new truck! Im guessing its stationed out of 2 as the County doesnt have as much of a plethora of hydrants as the City does⊠how would they fill up this tankerâŠ. I can only imagine that they reverse it into the Alamo Sea and pull it outâŠ.
At least if there were any fish caught you could cook em up in the StationâŠ. ThoughâŠ. Alamo sea fish not sure if iâd reccomend it.

Me personally I would get rid of Engine 2 and replace it with the tanker and call it Engine 2 and keep Tanker 1, so you have 2 tankers in the country and highways.
You can't call a tanker and engine, that's the wrong classification

Cause technically how your new one is called an Engine Tanker due to the set up on it just like there are Rescue Tankers out there. But your department your decisions I just wanted to throw out some ideas

Yep, and we call them pools in my region. Just like tenders on the west coast are tankers in the east

not trying to tell you how do do your job in game or anything but first off you dont need your full turnouts with a SCBA on when doing pump ops. Second you dont need to have the pool out when you have a discharge on the back of the truck.
Cool, so you should try listening to things I say in the video first before offering criticism, that way you know why I did what I did. Go back to where I gear up. Where was I going after doing so? Down the hill to the accident. Then I got diverted by other units and switched to pump operations. Due to the nature of the hazardous situation, I kept the SCBA on in case the tanker blew up OR someone became overcome by fumes and I needed to go pull people out. As for the drop tank, hey man, let a guy show off his new apparatus to you! It's almost like I really do know what I'm doing.

Nope, I don't redistribute other people's sirens outside of SA'F after I compile them. If you want sirens, get them from the source, not "leaks".

Why don't you pull a hard suction line off tanker and draft the remaining water back into tanker. That's what we do in my area.
Not all tankers have fill pumps
@@austinlarue6276 then why do they have hard suction lines on the apparatus? If this tanker for some reason didn't have a fill pump, how did it fill from the hydrant? All fire apparatus that supply water, engine, Quint, Pumper, tanker, ECT, have these pumps. Especially if they do what I like to call shuttle operations, where fire due tanker leaves the drop tank, uses their quick dump (this one had it, I saw it in the video), leaves to get more water, next in tanker can quick dump and leave, keep this cycle, and supply the trucks at hand. This system is wildly used, especially in Rual, or low water areas.
