Holy shit that’s a million times better than dance music today. You can hear a distinct bass, drums guitar and synthesizer. All alone they are each beautiful and together it’s magic
It's because all these bands were coming out of the Led Zeppelin / Pink Floyd era. Blondie started in the '70s.
Watching all the live versions of this in a row. and so far this is the best.
Debbie was and still is incredible. Gotta love Blondie!
I was 28 in '79, and Blondie hit me right between the eyes. I don't recall ever seeing this live performance so thankful to view it now. Great band and I was so smitten with Debbie and still am!
Heart of Glass, a disco ball, every instrument heard clearly & Debbie’s voice - I feel like I’m at the skating rink in 1979!!!!
damn right
I was watching you roller skate from the penalty box 😂
Me too!
I always ❤ blondie
greatest coolest live version !
Back in the day she was BANGING. 😍😘
This Lady surely has a ❣️ of CLASS! ThanK you Debbie! 🌹
MY GODDESS ...!!
I remember seeing Blondie on Dick Clark's New Years Rockin Eve in 1979 performing Heart of Glass. I went out and bought the 45 on Chrysalis record label the next Saturday at Vine Records in the Mall St. Matthew's. She was sexy, talented and hot with passion then and still is today. Debbie Harry what a voice and female Rock N' Roll pioneer! Great performer and timeless band of musicians of a special era of energetic feel good music.
❤❤❤❤ Amen! I saw her singing on SNL she was singing The Hardest Part…I just couldn’t comprehend her otherworldly beauty and oddness at the same time. I met her in 2006.
Back when it was just The Mall!
This song means something totally different, then when I was 17.....great song!
No!...flat
Can't believe I found this gem.
Me too!
I adore blondie 👱♂️ 😍
i do from day one and to think her vile mum gave her up at birth x
I love to hear the source of the arppegiated beat that made the greatest song of. All time
anyone watching this on 7/7/19 ? 40 years,just wow!

Eu conhecendo agora este belíssimo som...amei
10/04/23. Still wow!
Imagine being so off you face on everything at once and still being able to play . Awesome
Woah! Clem Burke looks like a badass, smoking while drumming.
ha ha i had the same thought too !he does not seem to manage :)
Best Version
Clem Burke is the man! In the top 25 drummers of all time.
Oh my gosh I’ve had such a girl crush on Deborah Harry for so long. Love love love her.
Even though the band is incredible, they still have that raw vibe, and Debrora is as sexy as it gets.
A friend leant me a record of the band I think 1978. A few months later they were huge.
Fantástic
Hermosa Debbie Harry.. Amo esto
Quelle femme ❤
beautiful live rock version of Blondie !!
She might have been a genius
yea i belive she is
Bella da impazzire
Disco goes punk! Their biggest hit next to “Call Me”.
I'm in love
I'm 48 and still punk. Debbie Harry was my first girlfriend. I was 5 and already in love with this song. Punx rule. Everything else sucks
Bullshiticuss
The long intro is much needed
Solid!
exelent.
Quel talent et quelle voix!
Holy cow, look at her
She was mashed!!
The original real title, i do mind, was 'Once i had a love' 0:50 whou hoo ho whou hoo ho
girl , you like !
I'm feeling like an old messed up peeping tom. Yet still great music!
👏👏👏👏👏🇧🇷😃
my 16 year old self had a great taste who I was in lust with, what a cutie she is, still is
She looked amazing in the Rapture video.
Estaba bien sensual y linda en esos tiempos debbie
All robot hearts are Glass Based...
I've never heard her sing the high notes to this song, live...why? I love her voice in the studio version. Can she not hit the high notes live?
What notes? She's hitting every note that's in the studio version. Maybe it's just different because you're used to the polished studio version.
@@MusicalSavior23 The singing is actually higher in the studio version, I think they could be referring to that.
I think he means her head voice, which is what the song was recorded with.
@@vbluercruz5815 What do you mean by 'head voice'? I'm not familiar with that reference. I love Debbie's voice--I'm just curious why it doesn't sound the same live on those particular high notes--no offense intended in anyway.
@@michaelmcmahon1855 Look up the original official music video and she has a much higher pitch for the entire song. No that it’s any better but it’s noticeable. Easily noticeable if you see the original music video and then one of these. No biggie.
Già trentenne sembra una teenager!
Un final PEGI18
Increíble amigo
Missed the up out
👌✌️🤟🤘🤪😜😍🥰
Did someone play music there? Was kind of distracted.
atomica
Looking past that beauty Clem nails those drums
This was the future of Rock and Roll. Then Springsteen fucked it all up.
Springsteen actually predated Blondie.
@@jimhardwick2944I was just quoting the Hamburger Dude (played by Paul Reubens) in "Cheech and Chong's Nice Dreams."
Debbie sounds burnt. :(
Missing the high notes.
Not her best work on this.
She was probably stoned that’s likely a reason
Still pretty good tho eh
SI CANTABA FEO EN VIVO..
Solo esa cancion ya que la cancion original esta editada creoo :vvvv
Se escucha hermoso , en vivo se oye mejor .. mas humano ...
This was probably peak rock 'n' roll.
