Criminal Laws Overhauled: What Has Changed | India Today

- Three new criminal laws, replacing the Indian Penal Code (IPC), the Indian Evidence Act from the British era, and the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC), will come into force from today, i.e., July 1, 2024.
The three new criminal laws are- Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam.
The Bharatiya Sakshya Sanhita, 2023, The Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita Bill, 2023, and The Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 were passed by Parliament on December 21 last year.

criminal laws are implemented not against criminals it is against opposition and whose are against the ruling govt. In colonial law each and every lines in the law are debated in the parliament and people knew which committee drafted the laws. now New law violates past supreme court judgements and we didn't know which committee draft it and our MA political science graduate and doctorate in riot , lynch and rape drafted it i think so.
What will happen to the lakhs of pending cases in the courts. Please throw some lights whether old and the new laws will run in parallel?
Throw the problem to already burdened courts
Old cases will be acted on old laws. New cases will follow new laws.

The question arises what is the necessity for the BNSS,BNS and BSS laws when IPC, CrPc and CPC are already in place while stating as British laws ,77 years of Indian democracy becomes a mockery in the sight of the world by merely stating that we were following British laws . It wasn't British laws, per se, Indian judiciary adopted what was categorised as international laws, incorporated and tailor made ,what was suitable for Indian Democracy . The world over nations, consult other nations while setting up laws after their independence so also India had its laws and Indian penal code wasn't British penal code nor the CrPc or CPC or any criminal law it was set right from the beginning for India a democratic Nation but taking in aspects of British laws or any International law be it American or European was the, in vogue, adaptations, just fooling people using an equally ignorant media who in comparison with the judicial system is bereft of the judicial laws its history ,and establishment of Indian laws is utter mockery of Indian democracy specially a powerful judiciary that is always above the legislation in the face of the whole world . Narcissism where few think are above all or in their ignorance and making a mockery of the Judiciary ought to allow themselves be educated that Legislators are not the ones in supremacy over judiciary just as much as no criminal or convict or anyone is above the law. And such violators can be brought to conviction for such violations because the law is above all . In that a handful do not make the Indian diaspora to bring in changes which has opened insights of an outsider who initiates changes in India while his intention throughout is to support China while sell outs of Indian politics have allowed Chinese infiltrations even loopholes in these BNSS,BSS and BNS allows such terrorists to get away ,where China's modus operandi incorporates their vested interest that is their terrorists covered even making inroads through these infiltrations in laws ,working out their protection through corrupt ones in power .
This will cause chaos when matters are escalated from one court to a higher court of law .
The BNSS,BNS, BSS have sections ,wide sections removed,changed which has become a foolproof protection for such criminal perpetrators,specially the terrorism principle adapted and adopted by Chinese terrorist posing as Indians.
An amendment to an existing law presented in the Parliament and passing it with 2/3 rd majority is what is the right way but changing the entire law and bringing in new law where there has been no accountability no normal judicial and legislative procedure followed but actually leaving out sections and adding modifications that benefit such vested interests ,crime perpetrators and terror initiating criminals is totally wrong .
Re iterating crimes and their punishments under a different heading and different section does not justify that such crimes were not addressed in 77 years ,if they were not then it was mockery of the judiciary ,constitution as such .
The constitution clearly defined that the Judiciary of India is above the Legislature in that the politicians here in question the Home Minister ,with a handful of judges or whoever was involved with or without, even if the IAS officers were involved in bringing in these changes in criminal laws ,the BNSS,BNS and BSS laws was not done in good light, clearly these have inroads protecting the mastermind of Chinese terrorism who have infiltrated themselves into India and have not only amalgamated themselves but are dominating in being actively involved in bringing down India in support of such laws that favour their modus operandi that is terrorism and such criminals were a few are willing to compromise.The Indian governance dominated by a handful of who have become sellouts through ignorance or sellouts to Chinese operations of terrorism, Before AI domination is allowed, stupidity should be uprooted from the grass roots when the handful who think have power only to sell themselves and India to China. An outside control of India in the technology dependance in the name of incorporating changes when making a mockery of India in the sight of the world after 77 years of independence and calling it,' British laws , is actually fooling the sheep mentality Indian while trying to silence the questioning inteligent Indian when the fundamental rights, laws are being touched , modified to facilitate vested interests to buy such compromised dictates of China and it's terrorism operandi.
Somehow the Indian democracy is under threat when Narcissism over rules, a questioning, authentic democracy.

Many citizens must be aware of basic difference between Civil versus criminal laws.
Free law campaign must be encouraged for spreading awareness.
Below acts must strengthen enough.
- Pocso law
- Attempt to murder/sense of public endangered activities
- Murder case
- Dowry acts
- One marriage law must be enforced to avoid unnecessary scenarios of death happening amongst couples and restrictions to the exterrestrial affairs.
- Abortion law must much more stronger.
- child marriage prevention act should be strengthened and awareness should be created in villages and panchayat.
- Reformation in marriage law must be done by raising the age of marriage above 25. The necessity of this law will encourage both men and women to pursue higher education and settle down with better life in both government and private sector.
Other basics of law must be endorsed by Advocate bar council.
The government of India must upgrade and grant to allow judicial service under government only rather freelancing.
