How to Dynamically Highlight Items - Tableau in Two Minutes

In this video we show you how you can highlight the last item in a series... and have the highlight still fall on the last item of a series when you update or re-load the data with new values. This is really helpful when you have a dashboard that updates on a schedule, and you don't want to edit a calculated field after every update to move the highlight one bar forward.
We use level of detail calculations and conditionals to make this work. I use this in several dashboards and it seems pretty robust.
