- Policymakers and farmers will gather at the Dynamic Earth science centre opposite the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh later today to hear ground-breaking soil science from the US film maker and researcher, Carbon Cowboy's Peter Byck, who will also present his new film series Roots so Deep. I asked Peter about the purpose of this afternoon's event?
So grateful to you guys for amplifying this research. On a daily basis we are hitting a brick wall with Gov, NGOs, media and mainstream commentators that continue to bang the same flawed drum about ruminants.
Thanks so much, Lee. Momentum will build, and truth will out.
Unfortunately , much of it is deliberate anti cattle farming propaganda, pushed in order to serve the greed of corporations that want everyone eating processed food, and dependent on pharmaceuticals for survival.
Research proves what small ranchers and farmers have always known.
Grateful for hearing that we can now frame what all organic regenerative farmers have known forever, and publish it in the science terminology. It seems the science is like a church that must put its stamp on the obvious, usually many years after people have been doing it and silenced, before it become the obvious that it has always been. So I want to say, thank you. But also I want to say: what have you been waiting for? Millions of us have known this all our lives. We eat meat only from grass fed, organic, regenerative local ranchers; dairy and eggs too. The Amish know this too and have never not done it this way. We are waiting also for medical 'discoveries' that will catch up with people's knowledge to actually cure degenerative disease and prevent it too, with nothing but food and lifestyle. Thousands of physicians are already using it... but the establishment is still in the dark ages of suppressing symptoms with toxic drugs, cuts, and burns. So I hope they don't silence you too. I will spread the word. Please keep exposing the way nature provides.
At long last this is being discussed and researched properly, though Allan Savory has been saying it for years!
Agreed, but Allan has done it by practice only, when he recently debated Monboit, because he didn't document his findings Monboit thought he won the debate because he had "science". Peter Byk would have verbally blasted Monboit's vegan bias right up his backside.
@@nigelwreford5215Mombiot only accepts science that fits his narrative. Richard Tegue and Jason Rowntree have published science that Mombiot ignores.
Regenerative practices can happen even on small parcels of ground and tiny gardens. The soil health principles are universal.
With AMP Grazing done right... achieving Fungal Based "Carbon Fixation" into Stable Humates (where all the energy has been extracted from sugars)... there is almost NO LIMIT to how much Stable Carbon (stable for hundreds to thousands of years) can be Sequestered in the Soil... 900 Tons (equivalent) has been seen at the extreme.... and 100 Tons/Acre is easy to accomplish over a decade (Gabe Brown has 90 Tons of Carbon/Acre fields).
The cost is "Less than Zero" since no Expensive Fertilizers or Herbicides are used... and the "Grass Fed" Beef is worth Twice as much yielding more $$$/Acre than ANY OTHER CROP would. And Veternary Bills drop to near NOTHING aince the cattle arent all SICK from eating grains.
It WILL BE HARD TO GET THIS KNOWLEDGE OUT... Because the Eatablishment $Billionaire Oligarchy invented the Climate Crises to impoverish (with expensive Energy) the WEST... to giive the Western Oligarchy more power. They DO. NOT. WANT. AN ACTUAL SOLUTION... to Atmospheric CO2 accumulations. The "SPIKING" of this information in the Propaganda Press will be obvious soon. They are already trying to kill the Beef Industry. Farmers in Europe are being destroyed right now BY THE CLIMATE FRAUDSTERS.
Positive news. Does someone knows where to find the research? 😊
The sun is biggest factor. But war is the biggest harm for earth.
Gabe Brown for the win! Make industrial ag illegal.
A carbon sink cooling the planet, you say? Hmm.
