  • Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport is an international airport serving Taipei and northern Taiwan. It's the home base for airlines such as China Airlines, Starlux and Eva Air. It was the 10th busiest airport in the world in 2019 and has some wonderful vantage points for spotters to enjoy.
I filmed this video from hostel that has a balcony beside the runway threshed. Being able to leave the tripod setup overnight and ready for the morning rush the following day is incredibly convenient.
When I visited and filmed from this airport back in 2019, the airport used their 2 runways effectively with the northern side used for landings from 10am until the evening, and the southern side is used predominately for takeoffs. There's also a few Eva Air flights that use this runway for landing as their terminal is on the southern side of the airport.
My goal for this video is to showcase the diversity of airlines and aircraft from a great vantage point that I was super lucky to be able to film from.

The plane at 28:20 was actually a 777-300 and not a 777-300ER. No 77W has the Trent 800 engine, they all have GE90... but that's a really cool catch seeing a 777-300 non-ER.

So many beautiful aircraft liveries here. Especially EVA, Hong Kong Airlines and Cebu Pacific. With so much animosity shown to Taiwan by China I ask; why are there so many Chinese Airlines flying in and out of Taipei? Or is the business of commercial aviation more important than military aviation or politics?

The Korean Air HL7569 that appears from 18:26 of the video is a B737-9, not a B737-8. The plane has now left fleet and was sent to Tucson, Arizona. I hope that someday you will shoot a video at Incheon International Airport in Korea. I sincerely wish you always healthy and happy. Love from Korea.

The data shown here are incorrect. Imagine, the aircraft registration of the Jetstar (3K) is from Singapore, the flight is shown only in Jetstar Japan (GK). Plus, TZ is an old IATA code of Scoot. It becomes TR after merging with Tigerair
