All 16 of the videos in this channel's "Investing Lessons" playlist offer huge value. Anyone new to investing would save themselves a lot of money by watching all of them.
We think so too!
Most informative investing channel on youtube! They aren't chasing clicks, they are providing value and knowledge, for retail investors to make decisions based on logic and not fomo! Thank you!
Thanks for that!
You folks are awesome. Giving so much knowledge in the most simplistic and easy to understand format.
You guys should create a playlist of similar videos to this that examine balance sheet and income statement! That way it's all easily accessible once viewers find one of them.
Will do -- we plan on remaking many of these
Lovely video. Probably the best one I found on this topic. Thank you!
I also like the fact that while your videos are informative, they're kept bite size. That's truly the awesome part.
We try to keep them short!
Thank you so much, I',m 20 yo from Mexico and I've been learning a lot to start investing in the stock market, since I just got experience from fixed rent, and this video has helped to better understand some concepts.
Keep up the good work. Netflix is a good example of why investors need to be able to understand the statements. Someone might think the company is durable while the financials speak something else.
To be clear, I own netflix and have for years. There's nothing nefarious going on -- its just a great example!
This will make me a better investor because by looking at the FCF statement in parallel with the income statement I will have a better overall picture of where the business actually stands. Thank you!
This was amazingly helpful! Thank you very much!
This is gold, thank you.
No problem, Skyler W! Just glad to hear it was helpful.
This completes our trifecta of coverage in the financial statements! You can find the balance sheet video here: czcams.com/video/a8I9rw2HVOU/video.html. And the income statement video here: czcams.com/video/tzxzBRCaJiQ/video.html

Please collaborate or get active with Indian listed companies too...NSE, BSE listed...
I refer to the non cash charges at time stamp9:35, so you did not pay for the coffee toaster? Can you elaborate this part? Thanks Brian!
The comment on Issue/repurchase stock says : any cash gained or lost from debt obligations ..is this not a typo ? should be : any cash gained or lost from share transactions ? this confuses me ...sorry if i'm wrong .
Why are the remaining lines of cash flow from investing activities not part of free cash flow? I.e. why only CAPEX?
Does Cafe Sole have a mission statement? And I can't find their Glassdoor reviews. Also, the moat seems open to disruption, and we haven't seen much for optionality. I like the the solid financials and skin in the game though. Intriguing founder, I'm a fan of his, but not sure if his company is investable.
ha!
Shares issued for conversion of debt and accrued interest
Can u explain this to me?
Some debt is convertible -- rather than being paid back, it becomes stock instead. This leads to high dilution if converted.
How did u get to 2.9k beginning of cash???
For Brian's business? That was a call back to our Balance Sheet video.
@@BrianFeroldiYT ohh thank you!
Why did you 150 for depreciation? That's a loss and should have been subtracted?
