So you don't get cooties falling into the cylinder, I usually just crack the spark plug open about one turn, pull the socket out, then blast compressed air into the hole. You would think that with the rubber seals on the plug wires nothing could get into the hole. Surprisingly, dust, corrosion, and dirt sometimes flies out. Once the hole is clean then finish removing the plug and tilt back that Miller!
I think I just found my new favorite channel! this video was exactly what I needed.

Hi,I have a 1.6 16v 1995 vitara, I have a problem,when i start the engine thr rmp stay around 1100 but as the csr heats up it goed up to 2000rmp ,on winter time when its colder outside goes even more and then the rmp starts to fluctuate. Can u help me? Any idea?

I have clicky starter and I replaced the starter not to long ago. It’s always started after a few try’s. But today I went muddying and after it wouldn’t click or anything, I had to push start🙈
If you're mudding buy a reman starter with lifetime warranty, and find the video from this channel that covers in detail, the contacts on back of ignition switch 😀 👌
My 1.6 L tracker is leaking engine coolant from right above the oil pressure sending unit in the block. Yes it's a crack, not the freeze plug. I've checked. Is this Common? What are your thoughts of replacing this engine with something like, oh let's say a 4-cylinder turbo diesel?

Got a tracker for some reason ignition spark doesn't occur till the key is turned off then it sparks. New plugs, wires, distributor complete, primary ignition coil. Wiring to the starter and battery replaced. Thought it was just the distributor but doesn't seem right with it only doing spark when key is not being engaged. Turned key to start, No Spark. Let go and it then sparks. Odd issue

When you do the timing with the light, do you clamp to #4 plug wire? I know the distributor is set at #4.

Best coolant specs like 50/50 or 60/40 for geo trackers
Nothing wrong with classic 50 50 mix unless you're in super cold environment
Whenever I buy spark plugs from the store they always give me the wrong size like won’t even fit down into the plug hole
Buying for the wrong engine. Need NGK plugs for 16 valve. 8 valve plugs will not fit

Many Sidekick Sport owners with 1.8 are upgrading to the 2.0 or 2.3 suzuki engine
If you have A tracker it has 1.6 engine. Nothing real easy to upgrade to with that set up but those engines listed are possible with modification

1,6L.it had lots of power.with a2,3L it would be hard to what kind of mods you need to do to make that happen, I've built a few ratrodd before

I believe in most countries other than North America the 1989-98 Geo tracker is known as Suzuki Vitara so yes they will be helpful for you
When I start up my zuk in cold weather the engine squeals like crazy for 20 seconds then goes away. Unless I run the heater then it squeals when accelerating. Possibly the serpentine belt? What’s your thought

My spark plug holes are full of oil, whats up with that??
You need to pull the valve cover off and replace all the seals.
