[SBST] (Retired) Volvo B10BLE Demonstrator Diesel SBS1688K Complete Showcase

Maxson Goh Films the only Diesel Powered Volvo B10BLE in Singapore as it plies Service 84. This video took countless days to film as I had to wait for the bus to drive past to get all the angles that you see in this video.
In 1997, then Singapore Bus Services received its first low-floor bus and demonstrator from Volvo, the B10BLE. It was the direct successor model to the popular B10M series. It was powered by the Volvo DH10A245 engine (9,603cc) that is Euro II compliant, and fitted with 5-speed ZF 5HP 500 automatic transmission.
Registered as SBS1668K in January 1998, it had Mobitec flip-dot EDS, and air-conditioning was supplied by Sutrak. The bodywork was from Volgren, of the CR221L make.

This bus speed up very fast,last time i ride it on same service the bus takes 6 seconds to reach 60 kmh from idle.Then my body felt like i want to pass out.

The majority of the videos I post are still supercars, and this particular video was posted alongside a video of 2 Ferrari 599 GTBs making loud sounds. I could go on and tell you about the significance of this bus, but I won't. I still spot cars weekly, so unsubscribe if you want, but you'll be missing out on a lot of supercar action. That was in training service,last time i saw a Volvo B10M MKIV parked over there instead and then the driver with a group of crew go take a break on the nearby pond and playground.I don't know why.lol
