Both Automata and Ending E of Replicant imply that the Attacker Type Units like A2 are based off of Kaine. And since A units are the prototypes for other frontline units 2B would also be based on Kaine as well. At this point Kaine is long gone but its very likely Project Gestalt incorporated the data obtained from Kaine during Ending E and implimented into Project YorHa
