Not all rooms face the ocean. The resort has two parts. If you’re wanting an ocean view-you have to specifically reserve the new tower with a ocean room. Seaweed is dependent on when you visit. I went in late July. There was no seaweed
I just returned from The Royalton Splash Rivera Cancun Mexico, I was initially apprehensive of the beach for there’s reviews that the water is brown blah n lots of seaweeds. There’s some seaweeds n the water is clear,the hotel placed long huge rubber tubes on the faraway water to control the seaweeds n it’s working, any seaweeds in the beach were swept up n trucked away every morning. The foods in the restaurants were really good. Kids enjoyed the water slides n water park. Rooms r big with good water pressure facing the ocean view… I would recommend this resort for a bit higher price.
What kind of room was that...Altitude Suite Oceanfront? or Altitude Corner Suite Oceanfront? or Altitude King Suite? also looked like there were charges on the room service bill that you signed, did you get charged upon checkout?
Hi! My room was the oceanfront suite king bed. I saw the corner suite and it’s realllllly nice. The balcony on the corner suite sweeps around. Very nice, but you can still get a great view from the room I was in. Even though I had to sign-my signature just confirms receipt of food. No additional charges. All included in my stay

Yes there’s an app. You make reservations for the restaurants on the app and order room service on the app. Room service is 24hrs.

Did it have the in room bar?
There was a fridge with drinks and a coffee maker, glasses, cups etc. I don’t recall seeing alcohol-they can deliver it to your room though

Not really a sushi fan. Depending on your room and package-$300-$500 per night

Several. Like 3-4
Doesn’t look like they cater to people with allergies
