For people who are trying to look smart: Miwu didn't suggest bug sprays because he was trying to tell us a completely different fact about mosquitoes, that's what his channel is about, telling us interesting facts and some of them even prove useful in our daily lives

Mosquito blood have a disease when the insect already bitten someone else and trying to escape from it by carrying the blood to their nest. When you clap them they have a chance of transmitting a bloodborne illness such as malaria and HIVwhich is carried out by the host. It is best if you use a mosquito soray in those circumstances.

How about cutting a bottle in half, putting yeast and sugar and water in the bottom, and take the top part, flip it and put it in. And lastly glue a black paper around it.
I heard yeast and sugar produces CO2, and that would make the mosquito come to it. If a mosquito gets in, it can't get out since the hole was too small. The black paper was used to attract mosquitos that likes dark surroundings.

One way is to use a mildly corrosive vinegar and spray it in the corner. This will attract all the bugs. If a bag has the vinegar inside of it, then you will be able to catch the flies after a couple of hours. Just wear a mask when you do this so that the fumes make less of an effect.

You can use a mosquitoes spary thing that kill them
They're agile, of course, but they also have a very strong smelling. Lightly soap your hands and you probably can catch them easily with only one hand. I'm usually catching them in my bathroom whenever I see them flyin when I'm still on my soap. Same as this vid's theory, catch them up to down.
The bubble in soap also helps trapping their wings.

Mosquitos are attracted to CO2. They rely on it to detect living animals who basically breath (while breathing we turn O2 into CO2). So what you can do is build a trap with a bottle of sparkling water to lure them. You can create numerous trap designs, there are plenty like sticky walls, fans that suck them in, cone walls, soap water to drown them and more.

Another thing about mosquitos, they basically experience time in 1/2 the speed. So if you were to move your hand very slowly towards them and do a quick motion to kill them once very close to them, you will have a near 100% extermination rate.

My guess is the heat messes up their tracking.
I used this method: grab a cup and fill it with any oil (oil has less surface tension so the mosquitos will drown) or u just grab a few lemons, mix with lime and anything else that is sour, put it into a spray and spritz it around, strong smell will get rid of em

i remember one time last year in one day, i killed 12 mosquitoes, which caught the attention of my parents since it was unusually high (most of the kills were in the bathroom) so they searched around and sprayed too, eventually finding out the nest. apparently, there was water build up *inside* the toilet somehow where mosquitoes kept laying their eggs there, hence the abundance of all of them. we then had to replace the toilet since this whole mosquito thing went on for about more than half a year before we found out. now there is little to no mosquitoes here in 2024 so far
