this class is important as general education to get at least a bachelor degree. I tell you, I had to do this Math to get my master. I am close to my retirement age, and I never needed to use exact probabilities. Only I have said looking at the sky... "Will probably rain". or "you probably will be fired"... dont pay attention to me. I am just elderly, but I am just saying. Saying that, here is the best explanation I have found for my kids.

It is mathematics and to be more specific, probability.
According to GCSE Mathematics, probability is the likelihood or chance of an event occurring.
Ever since I was in middle school learning basic algebra 1 to geometry thenalgebra 2, biology and chemistry, now physics and stats, this man has been there saving me from falling!

-Apply the following formula
-N=Number of points and outlying factors in A(B)
-N+(N-1)(1/2(N-1)+1/2)=All possible outcomes

My teacher just dictate what is written in the book and force us to write it without telling us a single thing what the hell the topic is about and why it is used etc ... Then expects us to understand it ourselves and perform well in exam 🤦🏻.... But this guy is something else and far far far far better than my professor... Great work man 👍🏻
