Hi, I came across your channel less than a week ago and have blitzed through your trip to Spain. Fantastic. I'm going to blitz Scotland next whilst also looking, as now, at the most recent stuff. I'm not a van, camper type but love travel. I'm too old now to do it myself but have worked and lived abroad for most of the past 40 years. Keep up this great work and I'm going to now enjoy the parts of the UK I've missed. Just realised that during the viewing of Spain I omitted pressing thanks. I'll go back and do them all! Cheers

Glad to hear about the 4k, Im on a new gaming 4k monitor so scaling up 1080p videos distorts the image quality a little so this will be awesome for people like me. Cheers both!

Dan, I'm like you not a fan of painting fences. I used to work for a guy who installed fences and we used to use a weed sprayer to paint. Not sure you guys have those old school pump sprayers but yea he used to thin the paint, and mix it, then pour it in the sprayer, pump that thing up and spray a fence 100 feet long in about 10 minutes. Mind you the fence was about 8 feet tall. Now it would take several coats because the paint was thinned down. To be honest we mostly used wood stain which was thin to start with but yea we did both paint and stain. Could pick up a weed sprayer it needs to be a good one at a Home and Garden Center. Use it a few times he would clean it but yea over time just needed a new one. Give it a try it will save you a lot and I mean a lot of time. You have to be careful of course NOT on a windy day nor do you wanna get it all over the grass around the fence. Drop cloth and go! The thing about spraying it over brush painting you can get those places that you just can not with a brush! Try it! Its a work Saver and it did work well once you get the paint figured out and how thinned it needs to be.
I'll just ask Mazzy if she would like to paint it. 🎨

Hello, hope you guys are ok? I notice you’re using Final Cut Pro, I’ve just started using that (treat myself to a Mac) - have you used that for a while for your editing? I’ve been really surprised how much quicker CZcams processes to 4K compared to my old (iPad Pro/Lumafusion editor) - has definitely saved time!

Many youtubers these days are doomers, all negative... but you two are a ray of light... sure sure you have your thumbnails and clickbait titles like any successful youtuber does and that's just the way of the world these days but yeah, you two are positive and uplifting so I hope you take my message in good spirits - life is full of problems, it makes us stronger and you two give us viewers a lift and give us strength so yeah - good job, keep it up, we like to see the see the ups as well as the downs and you both give us a great mix!

Hi Dan, caprinol ducksback is best paint water beads off.
Rustic brown is darker than dark brown.
I find dark brown too orange.
That paint you have didn't stop algae growing back quick on my fence had to redo every year.
Ducksback lasts for years no recoat every year.

It's not darker than dark oak..which is what l said. I used to sell cuprinol as a salesman so know all about it.

I have huge fence takes some hours to finish it all.

Hubby says if you use the reinforced mesh lying on site, if you lay it down, you should be able to drive on to your pitch without damage....

Is there a reason they don’t put gravel down for your entry into your site? Seems most sites all have gravel driveways.
It was never a driveway until we made it one.

Looks like you've both been flat out with work but just think when it's all finished you will be able to sit back and relax over a drink or two.
That's the plan.
If you wet the fence first you will quicken up the process especially if you use a small foam roller. Gaz
It's the corners and back bits that are the problem.
A small roller will cover more than you think 👍

HeyDan. Regarding your fence. Buy and try a WAGNER SPRAY UNIT. I have used mine on many decorating & fencing jobs and they are brilliant and quick. 👍

It will be worth the wait for people with 4k tv's and monitors :)
