This is one of those hunting stories you just have to tell, even if it is a little old. Mobile Venatic™, as a mobile hunting platform itself, was created with this and just a few other hunts in mind at the time. We are excited to finally present "The Track". Now enter Brett Joy in New Hampshire from the Just Hunt Club team. Brett had watched the buck called "Strawman" for years, and decided 2019 at age 8-9 year old was the year to give chase. Given the big woods habitat, mature buck behavior, and intel he had received for years to tie it all together, Brett knew giving a week of strict devotion for the buck was needed. After 2 close calls and the week ending with no blood drawn, Brett took advantage of a snowstorm and started off on the track....
Tracking a giant big woods buck is on every Northeastern deer hunters list of goals or accomplishments. Brett finally capitalizes on this rare golden opportunity in the mountains and tracks down the biggest and oldest buck of his life.
