you bypass the sensor to see if the problem from the sensor, if you bypassed the sensor and your dehumidifier still not make water then you need some freon
Jump the two wires for the sensor.. if you get ice/water your sensor is bad! If you jump the sensor wires and you don't get ice/water your refrigerant is low or empty! Pretty straight forward video that does not need redoing.. you simply need to address your comprehension skills!
@@FlaschDJ jump the corresponding wires in the white connector plug.. figure it out by looking at the circuit board and tracing back to the connector! A small enough wire to fit in the pin holes in the connector should suffice..
Does this sound like a bad sensor? When my dehumidifier is off and I turn it on, it will work great for about 20 minutes. Then it will stop and show E9. I can then turn it off and back on again. It will work again for about 20 minutes, shut off and show E9. Etc. Also: Yes, it DOES make some water before E9.
It could be the sensor or the freon is low. That is why you need bypass the sensor by connect the pin together. If the sensor pin connected together but it still not make any water then the freon is low. If it made water the the sensor is bad. Hopefully you understand the way to figure what wrong
well my sensor was full of dust testing now on a rainy day should be quick to know if it was just the dust xD edit: yup it was just dust in the sensor for me
1). THANK YOU!!
2). Those having difficulty hearing or understanding: Go to settings. Turn on Captions. This will assist.
Thank you again.
I am not clear on what fixed the E9 error code. Was it the sensor change or was it a freon refill?
TIA for your support.

Very good advice. Thank you.
Thanks for the video. At 2:21 you mention that we should try connecting 2 of the sensor pins together. Which 2? Thanks.
Where the thermal sensor connect to the board. The white sensor have 2 wire -just bypass it- make them become 1
Many thanks.
I am sorry; I can't understand what you are saying. please redo the sound.

@@JaseCJayPlease forgive the stupidity of this question. HOW do I jump the 2 wires? Do I need to solder? Or can I use alligator clips? Thank you

Don’t forget to check the refrigerant. Mine was completely empty.
