Heard someone say learning side kicks to the leg is the best self defense. My reply to their video is that side kicks are really hard to teach normal and even people like the rock. Kicking isn't a natural way of defense for us. I've have shown many people how to kick, almost none of them have ever done it right.
It's like anything it takes hours and hours of focused consistent repitition to nail and even when you think you have it you need to keep on practicing.
