I would like to address a change that was not mentioned in the patch notes. Hanamura is gone. No joke it is straight up DELETED even from the Assault Arcade mode and Custom Game Lobbies. I’m not sure if this is a temporary thing or not, but it better not be, that map has too much history to just be unceremoniously removed like that.
Update: As of the morning I’m typing, I’ve learned that apparently Hanamura is still on the assault mode despite the hours of research I put into making sure I wasn’t unintentionally spreading misinformation. It still has been removed from custom game map pool for all mode it was in. Honestly I can’t tell if that makes this situation more or less strange.
Does hanaoka include any (or all) of hanamura's geography? Or is it just similar in aesthetic
@@runaway74 it depends on what counts as aesthetic and what counts as map geometry, but to me yes it is entirely aesthetic, Hanaoka is different from Hanamura in almost every way.
I knew I wasn't crazy! I've never played Assault but with the clash trial it made me want to try out Hanamura on a custom game. I was very confused as to why the map wasn't there despite me seeing people play on it

Illari change is just dumb. The healing buff is minimal and not nearly enough compensate for the damage nerf. Illari isnt even very good right now.
That's sorta the point. They don't want to incentivise people dropping the pylon back with the team and leaving like people did on release because the pylon was actually good. I love Illari and Moira but my god, the amount of people that just play like them DPS, presumably because it's a faster queue time and they have more survivability, is insane. Some people even play Ana like that, it's embarrassing. Get me out of these damn ranks.

@ElusiveTy That's the point of illari though. She should be a support that can play as dps. Her kit literally centers around dealing damage since her pylon works on its own and her secondary fire is has minimal range and is mainly reserved for quick bursts. If they really wanted to shift her away from damage they needed to buff her healing more substantially considering she isn't very good right now.
She just needed like a 110 hps along with more range or just more range.
just a poorly designed hero tbh. her right click heal specifically being 10m or wtv while the rest of her kit incentivizes playing back is contradictory in itself. the right click should just be like her left click and shoot light bullets or something. should make sure they heal less then anas tho 4 sure

They also added a MUCH needed QoL change to quickplayers, now whe nthe match is done and the POTG is done, you can IMMEDIATLY requeue while your highlight plays out, no longer needing to wait for it to be over and those 10 seconds of requeue. The Queue also comes with a "change role" button next to the cancel.

Mythic skins are supposed to be “rare“ or harder to get which is probably why its called MYTHIC but ig some ppl just want to be spoon fed n showered with dirt cheap/free skins.😭

The point is that you get full mythic for 10USD/one battle pass, and you can CHOOSE which mythic you want.
You can even save up more by buying only base mythic for 50 currency, and use that leftover to buy 3 mythic per 2 battle passes OF YOUR PREFERENCE than having to get 2 select mythics (and forever unable to buy old ones).
This is a change in positive direction. This gives you far more freedom.
And nobody forces you to buy mythics through that option.
And people still pay for it 😭😭

The good part is that for the "wide group," the lower-rank friend can't be boosted anymore he will be progressing only in the range of his own rank and will no longer be promoted to the higher rank of his friend.

Getting boosted always meant playing with a higher rank friend (smurf) and them carrying you with free wins. It's still a very big issue
I wish lifeweaver had a hybrid option for his controls where i want the weapon to automatically swap between l and rmb but the dash ability on a separate key instead of on my jump.
Manually swapping weapons throws my playstyle a bit off, and sometimes don't want to accidentally waste my heal on my jump in certain critical moments. Hate when i accidentally dash on a double jump.

This patch also gave zenyatta new callouts in the chat and with voicelines when he pings someone who’s been discorded. I absolutely love changes like these, plus the voicelines are pretty fire

One thing that I feel happened but could just be me misremembering is I feel like Venture has less time to start charging burrow after the timer ends
I feel like during the trial I could hold it as the timer ran out to charge the jump but now I have to charge it earlier or it won’t work

Played moira and lucio a bit, they both seem fine, but their powershift buffs feel meaningless (especially the self heal during coal). They should have instead nerfed that on moira, kept the same damage on suck, but buff the damage/healing on coal to 75/150. Lucio needs faster projectile speed honestly, buff back his damage and nerf boops range a bit
They should have buffed the dmg of coal and slightly reduce dmg on her orb. I mean its an ultimate and it does almost same dmg as her right click.

At this point I really don't know what they can do with lifeweaver stats wise. His kit is either you makes his stats overtuned or he becomes difficult to use (not impossible). His kit forces him to spend most of the time healing and he needs to be allowed to make damage a bit more often.
They need to stop buffing his healing, give tree a new function and make petal more useful, it feels like it’s only good selfishly

His built has been built to purely support, now on mercy thats fine because of her consistent damage boost as well as unkillable nature, but weaver on has his healing. Most supports got one offensive ability like ana nade. What he could do with is a poisen effect on his thorns, we already have burn effect so why not poisen. He will need to hit a certain ammount before it kicks in then while he switches back to healing at least it will be doing something like damage or slight slow. So that won't take away from his kit much but add to it.
Found out you can't 4 stack in a wide group. Probably because that one person isn't queuing wide

Well at least they gave us 60 coins more than the weekly ones and now when you finish the BP you can disconnect until the next season so you are more hyped or something 😅

the new role matchmaking with wide or whatever sucks so much. tried quing with a friend on 3 accs and all our our matches were wide and take like 5+ mins for a game we literally gave up (im dia rn and they are plat so like what??? its awful)
I really love that credits are in the battlepass now although you dont get back the full amount you paid for the battlepass like in other games

something I am hoping for with the mid season even tho ik it’s cope, since the devs seem to always give kiri a buff along with a “nerf” if they target suzu again to tune it down, I hope they will adjust her damage to be 60 with the normal 2x headshot. Since they increased everyones health last season it’s a bit harder to have consistency with her dmg, and things like balls mines are actually the most miserable thing to deal with. They probably will never do this just cause I feel they want her unique crit multiplier (even tho illari also has a different crit from everyone) and honestly I think kiri will be fine without buffs, I more so want this cause the ball mines imma be real

I don’t like the damage passive at all, but it’s going to be super annoying if self healing with Soldier or Roadhog are the main things hurt by the damage passive
I dont know why but there is a bug where Genji can no longer wall climb after a double jump.
I'm glad they are finally learning how to balance. Whenever they balanced a character in the past they would completely over or under tune a piece of their kit and it would change the meta, then they would go back it and "fix it" then either it was 'okay now' or they would continue to slightly tweak it in the way no body asked for until they finally after months would hit an almost sweet spot. THANK GOODNESS they realize "Hey maybe we just tweak the dmg or move the damage by a tinsy bit and keep an eye on the character incase we need to slightly tweak it again" It sounds like a similar approach, but it's completely different it doesn't completely shift the meta and the compensate for any balancing they do. Omg whomever changed in the balancing leader ship know what tweaking is...
They still have a long way to go since orisa is still meta

You can get Mythic skins for FREE now, ASSUMING BATTLEPASSES STAY THE WAY THIS ONE IS:
- earn the free 600 OW coins for 2 BPs (that's 4 months total)
- with the 1200 OW coins, you can buy a BP for 1000
- Buy the most recent BP you grinded and earn everything in Premium: especially the Mythic Prisms
- free Mythic skin!
You could do that before too tho. 540 credits every season with weekly challenges (it was more annoying for sure) but yeah 😅

The Overhealth for Ball stays for 7 seconds if not damaged. Is that the case for allies who got Overhealth, too or is the time limit shorter or even linked to Ball´s timer?
In the video it looked like it only stayed for 3 seconds like JQ shout.
what if rein gained more armour proportionally to how much shield life he lost, so people would be incentivised to not shoot his shield so much or it will empower him. He would lose that bonus armour when his shield regens tho

blizzard saw gigantic and its clash game mode and decided: thats mine
I am a MASSIVE Lucio main. I love the hero and love playing him. The new Lucio changes have me worried. I can tell what there trying to do with him. There trying to push him to heal more. The only issue? He can't heal. His normal healing is one of the slowest healing times in the game apart from Lifeweaver at launch I believe. The only way to get a save with his healing aura is to amp. If Blizzard wants to go in the direction I think they are with Lucio. They NEED to buff his healing.
Not really trying to push him to heal more since he is used for his speed aura more than his heals.
Anyone Know whether we receive LESS xp this season from the weekly than previous seasons since we now only have 6 weekly’s that gives us 25 k xp per week?
