The Most beautiful Face ever, and Nobody can sing like her.
Right?? She was gorgeous
I would have liked just once to see her as a woman
@@Michael-ct1rp if you can’t or don’t see her as a woman, seems that is your problem…
@@jgator6694 I can assure you that sentiment is shared..
She is.obviously damaged by politics
@@Michael-ct1rp LOL. If you can’t see a “woman” because her hair is short..or shaved (to reveal ..by the way..a stunningly gorgeous face)..seems that YOU are the damaged one. I have no doubt others do share your sentiments. There will always be shallow and ignorant guys who think a girl is only attractive if she has long hair. You can’t help it if you are narrow minded…
There's never been a voice like hers. She was a warrior , an inspiration and a true gift in the world. You should read her autobiography. It's astonishing
Rememberings? Heartbreakingly beautiful.
Definitely a warrior! RIP! Been a fan since the late 80s! ❤️😢 Great human being and singer!
Breaks my heart every time too.
So proud to be Irish. Sinead was the soul of our country. Rest in peace Sinead
Prince wrote it, Sinéad owns it
Stunning, lovely reaction
The lyrics can be rearranged in your own mind about someone you have loved and they have died. NOTHING compares to them ever, you never get over it whoever they are.
Prince, super star.
Prince-one of best artist ever 😍🎩🤯💔
That's some team up!
@@lukelocks9083well, now she is on the other side
This is one of those songs that never gets old imo.
rest in peace Sinead 😢😢😢nothing will compare to you
The Face and voice of an angel, and those were real tears
She passed away today and she meant a lot to my mother and I. Now I'm stuck watching reaction videos as if it's me hearing her beautiful voice for the first time 💔 rest in peace Sinead O'Connor 🕊
me too...
When did she pass away was it last month

It’s literally impossible hears this song and don’t cry … I will miss you Sinead
I cry EVERY time I hear this song. Sinead's voice was so beautiful & haunting. I'm so very sad that she's not on this earth anymore. RIP beautiful songbird.
This video came out at the height of MTV and it blew people away without any animation, stop motion, green screen, special effects, or any other "experimental" elements so popular at the time. Just the raw talent and emotion of he performance.
This video and song blasted through MTV. It's hard to remember how god-awful stupid the music and culture had become when this landed. "120 minutes" launched it, but it couldn't be contained there. It was like all the silly pop culture and superficial goofiness hit the pause button for a few minutes. It stripped things bare and resonated in a way that had been missing for too long. I'll die on the hill saying that this particular song and this particular performance was literally the thing that started killing hair-metal and ushered in a new shift in taste and sensibilities. It wasn't just part of the shift. It was the push.
it was just the beginning of MTV...it was and is a masterpiece, A treasure left for us from Sinead.Thank you for the music.
…. And without any sexual content of boobs and booties flying to sell a voice or tickets…. As is the case today.
Todays female artists? No one compares with Sinead.
Such perfect choices - the black turtle neck. The black and white film. The up close shot. Just beautiful art and direction fitting for a beautiful woman and a beautiful song.
@@josefineG MTV started in 1981... this was 1990...
I cry every time i hear her sang this song. Prince wrote a beautiful song and she sang it so dearly beautifully.
R.I.P.
OMG this song has shredded my soul since 1990 , now that the singer is no longer with us, it is even sadder, RIP
The intimacy of such a pure song with such intimate a clip is so beautiful. I cry every single time I watch the video or her version of this. Sinead got the total meaning of this and the grief.
So Sineads mother died in a car crash when Sinead was 18,the verse about the flowers dying reminded her of her mother which is why she got so emotional.
Second that.
One of the most beautiful and emotional songs beautifully executed by Sinead O'Connor. The lyrics were sad and soulful. Thank you, Sinead for sharing your immense singing talent. RIP, Sinead.
What beautiful faces both of you have. a most thought provoking song from over 30 years ago which still touches our hearts.
I love this song because it can be about a breakup, a death, or some other form of lost love. We can all feel it in our heart because Sinead put the feelings out there with her amazing talent.
Ella recordaba a su madre
After 30 some odd years, her face, this song, & her emotion, still can make me cry....you just know, she was feeling it 😔 *RIP Beautiful* 💖
100%
RIP beautiful Sinead ,this song is forever in my heart ,I hope that is your soul faund a peace ❤❤❤❤❤❤
One beautiful woman reacts to another 💕 this is sisterhood 🙏💝
Awwwww 😊
When this song was released in 1990, I was on a warship sailing away from home. This is the same emotion sailors feel on the first day of sailing. I have never seen so many grown men affected by a singer as I did when I went into the dining hall on that day. Big boys don't cry, but some were only just managing to hold back the tears from falling into their food. Well done Sinead for giving us this rare show of emotion and thanks Nomee for reminding me how we all reacted when we first heard this.
Big boys can cry, they aren't robots. Sailing away, just said your loved ones goodbye. Can't imagine the horrible feeling.
33 years on. Where did that time go? Your experience around this song touched me. Thank you.
I use to listen to it in my vehicle heading to Camp Lejuene , NC. I was a hard-core Marine lol. Yes, it touched my soul too.
Sinead was God's unique gift to the world. Such beauty and talent but grounded. So happy to hear you and your fellow soldiers had her beautiful voice to comfort you. God bless you. Rest in peace Sinead.
USA and Ireland
❤❤❤❤😢😢😢😢
It's a timeless classic.
I was in 10th grade when this came out. Such a powerful song for an angsty teenager like me. The song is beautiful but it's how she makes you feel it that takes it to another level. May her memory be a blessing.
Prince wrote this song in 1984. Sinead O’Connor did this cover version in 1990. It went to no.1 in the UK charts and no.1 in 18 other countries. She tweaked the script slightly to make it a female version. The part she had tears in (All the flowers you planted, Mama, in the backyard) was thinking about her mum, who died in a car crash three weeks before. She had a very difficult life with her mum, and wanted to forgive her, but it was too late. All the other lyrics of this song (written by Prince) wasn’t about her life. She chose this song because she loved it herself.
Muito obrigado pela explicação!
It wasn't a cover version because Prince never recorded it. This is the original.
Her mom passed away just weeks before Sinead passed?
@@sophiaa884 No. Her mum passed away in February 1985.
@@Ciaradexy Prince did record it. It was a pretty good rendition.
Such power in her voice she had the power to move your soul. ❤️💔
Saddest song I’ve ever heard. Seen a hundred times still gets me 😢
Sinade’s mother died when she was 18. She was 25 when this song debuted. However, you are right about the fact that she thinks about her mother every time she sings it, which is the reason for the tears and sadness and the pain in her voice. Her mother was extremely emotionally, physically, and sexually, abusive towards her. Somehow, somewhere in her beautiful heart, she still longed for her mother. RIP Angel Sinade… this world was too ugly for you. Thank you for the memories and the music.
omg why are some humans acting like animals so much wickedness gosh😭😭😭
Thank you for loving this too❤
Her son took his life it was hard to much for her she took her own life sad 😢😢
I was so lucky to see Sinéad O'Connor live and we had front row seats, beautiful voice, sadly missed, the World was not always kind to her.
I've heard it a million times and I cried with you today. RIP Sinead.
i can't believe she's gone😫😭
@@nomeereacts1101 She was a tortured soul.
Don't worry sweetie. That song has brought me tears for over 30 years
I was 30 years old when this came out Sinead was 24 she was one of the most beautiful girls around,R.I.P. Beautiful.
Our beloved Irish beauty Sinead passed away recently, this song was by far her best song ever. This song was written by prince but Sinead version is by far better R.I.P Sinead ❤
I'm crying every time I watch it. RIP Sinead, thanks for being such a great human being and a fantastic artist.
I can't cry for so many days from these videos that have filled all of CZcams. I know what she was thinking about her mom in that song. The lyrics hurt a lot of people. Beautiful girl, beautiful song.
You heard it like it was meant to be heard, Thank you x
RIP Sinead. She was fierce as all. Glad to see your reaction after her death. Very moving.
one of the best singer female ever!
Masterpiece forever❤
She is a beautiful and tortured soul
An icon. A truth teller with a gift. Rest in power, Sinead and thank you for bringing me to this channel.
Your reaction is "perfect". RIP Sinead
Written by Prince and sung like an angel by Sinead O'Connor. Now they are both gone.
So amazing to see a person hearing her beautiful voice for the first time and feeling the same heartache Sinead felt singing it. ❣️💔❣️
it reminded me of the hardship i went through during my childhood as i didnt grow up with my parents
R.I.P sinead you are an absolutely Angel and you are now with your baby Shane
The voice of an angel gets to sing with other angels now. 💔
Yes wow. This is an unforgettable song. What a voice.
so heartbreaking to see that lovely girl cry what a sweetie
What an awesome reaction! And what a loss! RIP Sinead
In the 80's when I was a teen, Sinead was my favorite artist. I listened to this over and over. It still is so beautiful.
The most beautiful thing of the Song Is that Sinéad dedicated It tò Hero mother when She died
You are a beautiful soul to be touched by Sinead’s song so early on.. She was a musician who emotionally inhabited each and every tune. Do listen to her tracks with trad Irish musicians.. we lost an important Irish Warrior Woman 😔
she would forever be in our hearts
Hallo Nomee, you are one of the rare people, that did not disturb this wonder with speaking and that is the only possible reaction. You feel with the singer and cry like I do, whenever I hear him. It opens heart and soul like no other song I have ever heard and seen!! Its a masterpiece, endless like Sinead was /is. God send us an angel. 😢❤❤
Thanks Ralf
The pride of Ireland!! It's beautiful to see people's reaction to this song. Prince wrote it and invited Sinead to his house where he terrorised her. Tried to force feed her soup and had his driver chase her through Hollywood. She was only 21. Suaimhneas síoraí mo chara ❤
i love Ireland

She was wonderful!!! RIP Sinead!
RIP to one of my favourite
So Sineads mother died in a car crash when Sinead was 18,the verse about the flowers dying reminded her of her mother which is why she got so emotional.
You mean the mother who was incredibly abusive to her, physically, psychologically? The same mother who forced her to stay live outside for over a week, sleeping in the garden? Yeah, I might get emotional thinking of that, too.
@@kevinlakeman5043 Sinead forgave her mother for the terrible abusive she suffered at her hands, only falling out with her when she denied it had happened a year before she died.
@@kevinlakeman5043 It is very easy to love your abuser when she is your mother.
@@kevinlakeman5043 no matter what, your mother is, your mother. And when her mother died, perhaps there was the feeling that there was never a chance to fix things.
Sinead O'Conner said in an interview that the pain in this song for her was more about her Mother. Her Mother had a garden that she made Sinead sleep in. Originally written by Prince who wrote this for the band "The Family", Prince was in a relationship with his then bandmate's Wendy's twin sister Susanna Melvoin.
Thank you for your reaction Nomee. I'm over 50 and this song still gets to me.
Wow, Nomee, your tears were beautiful... Lovely people react to lovely songs, what a joy and a beauty.
Oh sweetheart watching you keeps it green for me. Her passing was very hard for many of us Sinead and Prince fans. True blues can only be performed well, and move the viewer, if the artist has had them.... Thank you for being so candid
🥰🥰🥰
Todos indo embora, de uma forma ou de outra é aborrecedor, profundo e silencioso ......
Loved your reaction! That song generates an emotional response from nearly all of us. Mostly because it's a subject that is so relateable. Her performance of it, and the video itself, was masterful!
Her past is so tragic! It’s absolutely amazing she’s still here. I don’t know how she made it thru. ❤
I hate to tell you...she just past away today....may she rest in peace 🕊️
She didn't. :-(
I was a kid when this came out so growing up listening to this even still to this day brings tears to my eyes I think everyone at some point in there life can relate to this outstanding song one of the most amazing voices ever 💙
Seeing this emotional response reminded me how talented Sinéad O’conner was. It was heartbreaking for me to here about her death, not just because I’m a fan, but also because she died so young.

Brilliant sianed you had a lovely voice. RIP now god bless you 🙏 💔

She sings it like she means it 👌👏🏻 superb
And just like that she has gone....................and nothing did compare to her........Rest easy sweet girl.

The beautiful Sinéad O’Connor with a gorgeous yet painful song which I know we all can relate to in our lives including myself.
Thank you for this choice of music and I look forward for more heart wrenching songs in the future.
Kind regards paul………
This song has always made me cry - especially when I sing it. I relate it to my father's death and my mother's dementia (I'm totally hardened to failed relationships). Now that she has died, it's even stronger. Seeing you cry to listening to it for the first time, I was sobbing.
Peço a Deus que te abençoe sempre 🙏🙏🙏. força que Deus está contigo.
It made me cry too when I first saw this film. The Singer/Musician Prince wrote the song and performed it originally. And you pronounce Sinead's name Shinade it is an Irish/Celtic name. I enjoyed your reaction and I have subscribed.
I heard another person’s reaction… I’m convinced he’s some version of half hearted… this song is timeless.
Aw so sweet to see your reaction. It's such an emotional song that seems to strike a chord with everyone who listens to it. It will never get old, so beautiful 🥰💖
This song is where I come to feel.
Only broken hearts and the ones who lost true love can feel her
So everyone then!?
Nada nem se compara a ela...originalmente linda, voz angelical e encantadora...descanse em paz Sinead o'connor
Its nice that you called her your lord ..well done
Very touching and emotional reaction to this song. It's not every day that you see the artist's heart breaking as she performs it. (BTW, it's pronounced "shin AID".)
Such a genuine reaction to such a beautiful performance and song
Thank you, someone finally cried in the reaction video to this song. I cry the whole time I hear it since I realized it's about death.😢❤
