Bottleneck playing is VERY hard! If panic with broken 2nd string, even more. And we can't see it well, in 3:09, When Kita's solo and Bocchi's preparing are done, Ryo gives a signal with her gaze, Nijika nods and play drum fill. THIS is fantastic and perfect chemistry! Kessoku Band is perfect band!

Off topic a bit, i follow you on Twitter, Brian. Seem like you guys aren't active on Twitter like other content creators, but seriously, i think that is a good decision. My interaction with Ani-Twitter in the last 2 years has made me believe that Twitter is not the nicest platform for wholesome folks like you two. Some content creators i follow on Twitter have to deal with negativity frequently and it sadly eats away their spirit.

por Ahora esta confirmado una pelicula recopilatoria del anime y de ahi quizas anuncien la 2da season ya que por ahora el staff esta trabajando en otros proyectos y el director esta en frieren asi que por ahora solo eso hay. por cierto el 14 de este mes habra evento por la celebracion de 1 año y daran noticias.

I’m no expert guitar player, but when I heard that “ping” when she was tuning her guitar my stomach sunk… and sure enough her string broke. Unlike Bocchi, I’m nowhere near talented enough to whip out a bottleneck slide to cover myself.
She actually lost two strings: The B & E (one string broke and the peg for the other broke which prevented the tension on the string to be maintained). If she had only lost one she would have likely been able to compensate - most good guitarist would be able too.
Also, in the manga Bocchi's solo was scheduled for the third and last song - which makes sense if the purpose was to highlight her to her school. Therefore, for those wondering, Bocchi didn't have to worry about playing a song with a broken guitar since the band had already finished their set when she stage-dived (it also makes more sense why Kita would want Bocchi to say something since they were finished). The anime switched this in onder to save time.
