I've had the privilege to see a Bugatti Atlantic in person. If you ever get the chance there is one at the Prescott Hill motor museum in the UK. Amazing car

Because of its extreme value, to announce it was found and is at a certain shop, would likely result in it disappearing again to end up in some mega-millionaires or billionaires private collection never to be seen again. Something worth that much would put peoples lives at risk from thieves. But I agree that it is not likely it was found

The boat it was on sunk by a U-boat 5. Destroyed by Germans on transport or on docks when France was invaded 6. Destroyed by the Allies from D-Day 7. Sitting in some barn or cave by the transporters for themselves to sell or to protect it from Germans and they forgot about it
