I’ll be completely honest, I saw ur username, the fact that the title was in all caps, and a bunch of other biases that made me think “damn she’s a nerd” and I watched anyways, and you had the exact same reaction I had to the trailer, now I’m like “damn, I’m a nerd”.

Keith David as Husk and Alex Brightman as Sir Pentious were the biggest surprises for me. I love that Erika Henningsen is Charlie and Kimiko Glenn is Niffty. Wait ‘til you hear Blake Roman sing! I’ll miss Michael Kovach as Angel, but Blake’s singing blew me away! It blew everyone away at his audition according to songwriter Sam Haft.

When Charlie just holds that note as they reveal the voice cast... I got goosebumps. What a fucking top tier cast they got. Everyone is spot on. They recast Angel as good as you could ever hope without it being Michael. Charlie's voice is gorgeous. This looks awesome, but I hope we get an in-universe explanation for the change in Charlie’s eye color, like special contact lenses or some kind of glamour, something she only wears on certain occasions. They used to be only for pitching to producers, then maybe if the show is successful then we will get to see the pilot as a special treat. Like the Simpsons pilot. There's a significant difference between the Simpsons pilot and what we got. Sometimes the show changes a lot between the pitch and production. The owl house pilot is an example of that.
It's something special that Hasbin's pilot was high quality, and there's only minor changes in style for production

A note that high, held for that long, with that kind of power behind it, evokes something visceral in humans. We all somehow know just how crazy hard that is and she does it without having to force it. Maintaining a super crisp and clear bell like tone the entire time. It's fucking gorgeous.

Erika Henningson voices charlie, and her most notable role that comes to my mind anyway, is Cady Haren from the mean girls musical. She was the voice of Cady in the mean girls broadway musical and the main cast, which is honestly a really popular musical. I didn't expect her AT ALL, but she really fits charlies character.
