    Sounds good. did you have to get a o2 spacer to get around the CEL after the test pipes?

      I got the O2 spacers with the kit and they have been problem free since!

    Which cap pipes did you go with? Did you get ceramic coated or heat shield?

    • @KITT500
      @KITT500  Před 11 měsíci +2

      These are the heat shielded

      @@KITT500 thank you. I bought the same and in the mail on the way now. I am leaning towards adding 2 GESI G Sport high flow cats and an X pipe them free flow from there

    How much louder are they comparing to the stock downpipe? Consider getting the same one for A6 but don't want to get too loud.

      When I’m cruising, not loud at all. When you give it some gas to speed up a bit you can definitely hear it. Drones inside, but only when you’re at maybe 3k-4K rpm or greater. When you really step on the gas it screams. Anything less than 3k rpm it’s quiet like stock.

      @@KITT500 Thank you. IMO, for daily driving/crusing, 3k rpm is more than enough. Does cold start sound different than stock?

      @@KITT500 Can you smell it in the car and outside the car when the car is stationary, like startup and waiting for a red light?

    • @KITT500
      @KITT500  Před 9 měsíci

      @@rettymoo942 yes I smell it but I also have developed an exhaust leak at the flex joint so I’m waiting to address that. I’ll be replacing the stock down pipes with ECS X-Pipe as well. So it will sound a bit different once that’s changed. Hopefully that solves the smell issue. The smell isn’t that bad but I certainly wouldn’t want to leave it as is.
