I've never run a marathon in my life but after watching MUPh 2024....
I have been super critical of the past few winners of MUP as they were rather blah, but this MUP is a candidate I am excited about! She is stunning, confident yet seems approachable. Reminds me of Catriona.
Even the universe did not give a hint that bulacan would win the crown, the universe radar wasnt for her, what a surprise, love surprises anyway,
But she fought hard and she deserves the crown 👋👋
Bulacan will shine in Mexico.

Hindi naman sorpresa ang pagpanalo ng Bulacan dahil based sa performance sa preliminaries at finals night ay magaling talaga ang Bulacan.
I have nothing against international artists/personalities. In fact, one of the performers is one of my favorites. I just can't help but feel sad that roles such as hosting for Miss Universe Philippines could have been given to Filipino artists. It's fine to export talent, but can't Filipinos take on the hosting and performance roles in MUPH 24? If we can't patronize and support our own, how can others do? P.S. I really feel MUPH should be handled by someone else.

So happy for Bulacan. I love her. My top 3 were Cainta (winner), Baguio (1st ru), and Bulacan (2nd ru), with Bacoor and Quezon Province rounding out the top5. I only had QP in my top 5 because of the hype but I never really got her. Don’t get me started with Iloilo. The most over-hyped pageant contestant ever.
Ps, I think Cainta was the most magnetic on stage and would have slayed in Mexico. But, I really liked how laid-back Bulacan was. Baguio just needs to mature more and she’ll be set to go. She’s really hot. Hope she joins again. Very surprised about Cavite’s exclusion. I thought she was gorgeous.

They will never let a Bb. Pilipinas win the MUPH crown. I just wish that the franchise will go back to Bb. Pilipinas.
The judges gave a two-in-one verdict on the most popular candidates-- a black beauty but not Alexie, and a Manalo but not Atisha. Solomonic solution, pageantry style? Lol!
I really like Bulacan and she is in my Top 5 list but to be crowned as Miss Universe Philippines 2024 is not her time. I really feel sad for Athisa. She’s so Mexico ready. Even Tara Valencia should be in the Top 3. Anyway even if Athisa won I don’t think that Khun An will let her win the 5th crown for the Philippines.

Brookes and Athisa are not MUP material. They do not have that exceptional quality - the “it” factor that makes a MUP contestant stand out above the rest. Brookes is mannish, that all graceful; Athisa’s prettiness is tiresom - it has no character at all. The winner Chelsea Manalo is however in a different league: she possesses calmness, confidence and strength of character that shines through a quietly lovely face. I thought the statuesque Taguig contestant with Latina features would take the crown, but in hindsight, she will never stand out among the contestants at the MU in Mexico but would simply be lost in the crowd of Latina beauties.

The obnoxious and toxic fans of Iloilo did her in. Aside from making her feel too over confident that bordered on arrogance, they succeeded in alienating her from supporters of other provinces
