Wow. American universities move in so much earlier than British ones. Most universities in the U.K. start in late September sometimes even October 😳

we do tend to get out in may/early june tho, correct me if i'm wrong but i think UK schools get out later?
rebeccabecca yeah, in years 1-10 and 12 (kindergarten - grade 9 and grade 11) we usually finish school in late July. Years 11 and 13 (grades 10 + 12) we finish end of June. And then in university we finish at the end of June
Germany is even later, usually we start around mid-October, this year even October 26th (only university though). Fall semester is until February usually and then spring from April to July
I lived in hassy last year, you’ll have a lot of fun there!!!

Hopefully everyone follows the rules ! I just seen ASU won’t reveal if there’s positive test. My parents are freaking out and I move in on the 17th .
I totally get it, it’s scary. But if you’re not wearing your mask on campus, you are not allowed into places and I would just recommend wiping down the area your will be using with the provided community of care kits they give you. 😭 They have sanitizer stations like literally everywhere and guidelines for walking and staying 6 ft apart.

According to ASU...yes sadly. But check your campus if you will be attending a different school! For reference :

I am scheduled to move in to ASU tooker campus soon. How long did they give you to unpack?
As long as you sign in by your scheduled check in time they will either help you move all your stuff in for you (this is usually the case) or you can take as many trips as you need to unload as long as you’re checked in! :)

Yes absolutely, once you’re on campus you are able to settle in! :) just make sure you get tested for COVID because it is required for all ASU students living on campus.

Yes I do have a roommate! I am posting my dorm tour soon so you will be able to see her side. Also we are all required to get tested for covid if we’re living on campus, just in case that was a question you might’ve had.

This is the reason covid-19 isn't going away because people still want to go to school while covid is going on and in MY opinion it's NOT fair that only SOME people are staying home while everyone is out living life and I know all your fans might come at me but the longer people deside to go outside and live life like nothing is happening the longer the people who have been staying at home have to stay at home so that's NOT fair to everyone who wants to go outside but staying inside like why are schools and students wasting there time because kids coming from different home situations and coming back to school they are bound to get covid and spread it then the whole school has to go on shut down again just saying but lots of parents are sending kids to school and in MY opinion that means they don't love or at least care about there kids and remote is basically like sitting at a school desk all day aka school and even though remote learning does suck and I'm NOT in favor of it but it is the safest option and even though you do give up socializing time it's replaced by safety aka THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR TO LIVE A LONG AND ENJOYABLE LIFE these people wanna live life to the funnest I get that as well bc my birthday is soon but in order to live life to the fullest *AhEm* sorry but you need a LIFE for that so yeaaaaaaa instill watched the video but just coming to spread awearness so people can think of how there actions affect others because NOBODY thinks of that nowadays which is seen in this video therefore setting a bad example for kids telling them basically it is ok to go outside furing this and just because you have a mask your NOT COMPLETELY SAFE because this virus is STRONGER than everyone makes it out to be because if that wasn't the case how come this virus came from China to New York or wherever y'all live 'DiD iT tRaVeL oN a BoAt' NO it traveled because you can have it but not show symptoms so Yeaaaa this virus is trickier smarter scarier and smarter than everyone is making it out to be so mask are only a fix for now and we don't even have a cure for this virus so yea. yet again just coming to spread awearness but I watched the video, ok baii
Honestly I get your point 100% and that’s great, thanks for sharing. As a part of MY JOB which is under HOUSING I am REQUIRED to live on campus. I understand how upset you may be but at the end of the day the person you should be messaging is the school, not me. Our school is taking precautions but I know that people feel otherwise. I am doing all that I can to make my residents feel safe because this is my job. Also I am not out here going out and having fun, this is literally my home and I take great precautions for my own safety and the safety of others. (Wearing a mask, disinfecting and actually getting tested)
