Ms. Flack is amazing. Please DO check out more of her catalog. The hits as well as the album cuts will blow your mind. Her voice as well as her piano skills, and the way she can arrange and remix/reimagine a tune is something to experience. 💜💫✨🤌🏾🔥🤗
Was part of my wedding music. Still my most favorite song.
The LEGENDARY Iconic Ms Roberta Flack
Roberta makes singing like this look easy. And you and I know how hard this is. She's a true legendary Goddess,
Of all the music I have heard in 67 years of life, this love song by Roberta Flack ranks in the top 3.
A BIG ole YES !!! I sure you will like.
Such a soulful singer & a beautiful timeless song.
The recording from her 1969 album First Take is the high standard for this song. It was overlooked by everyone until Clint Eastwood included it in it's entirety in his 1971 directorial debut PLAY MISTY FOR ME during a love scene, and Roberta was immediately in demand, so a single was released and she became a star. THAT recording's tempo, arrangement and quality can never be reproduced.
Stankface the WHOLE time❣A masterpiece!🎙🎶🤩
The beautiful Roberta Flack 😍
One of the greatest
Peace & thanks. Clint eastwood.
This song is on the record ,, First Take,, 1969 and again on the 1986 record ,, The Best of Roberta Flack ,, . The song was written by Ewan MacColl (James Henry Miller). Produced by Joel Dorn.
Greetings from Heidelberg / Germany
She sounds like "TEXTURED CHAMPAGNE" THAT WILL ALWAYS STAND THE TESTS OF TIME, ERA, GENRES, FRONTS AND FADS. SIMPLY SILK.😊🎉
After this please listen to the studio version and let us know which one you like more
Yes to the studio version, back before she smoked all those style enhancing cigarettes and some historically gigantic joints. There's not all that many words being sung for a three minute song but each word in the studio version you can easily hear what she just said. This is a sensual song you can imagine she'd sing to her husband years later.
"Where Is The Love" and "Feel Like Makin' Love" are two of my favorite songs by Roberta Flack. And of course, the collaborations with Donny Hathaway.
Her cover of Bridge over troubled water is magic.
The Legendary Roberta Flack is Amazing ( killing me softly ) is Another. song she Absolutely Crushes !!! 😄😄
Yet if you would like to experience not only Vocal highs & Lowes with perfect note Separation I would Recommend

This version is better than the studio in my opinion.
You were feeling that
Should check out Josh Krajick cover of this song when he was on X factor judges house his vocals are phenomenal
She does some nice duets with Donny Hathaway.
Great artist and song, listen to the studio version
This song was about her newborn baby girl
No it wasn’t. She didn’t even write the song.
