As a Duke fan it really sucks to lose Elko but I understand the schools basketball priority. I hope one day we can be a stable program like it has been under Elko. Regardless I wish him the best at A&M and I know he’s going to be awesome for that group. Best of luck Aggie nation ❤

A&M getting elko is a testament to how good Duke was! Duke was amazing under him and he elevated the view of Duke football. More high level coach will want to go there because elko proved in can be done at a “basketball school”
@@Newcleus_Lab I hope you’re right. I’m just worried we won’t be able to get someone ok and go back to being a bottom feeder. Like being competitive this season was awesome even in that close ND loss.

Pats ability to make people loved and welcomed and build strong interpersonal connections with most people he comes across is quite literally unparalleled. Love and positivity is contagious and you can certainly see that with the people Pat surrounds himself with. Kudos to Pat 👏

Regardless of wins and losses, rankings or accolades. The 12th Man stands ready. Midnight Yell Practice is our way or preparing to support our team, just like our teams practice to compete.
As a long time TAMU fan I am excited. This man is a smart football coach, a hype man, and just understands the climate of college football these days. I truly hope to see his version of The Wrecking Crew defense succeed and hope we can finally get an offense worthy of SEC championships.
Midnight yell was always a blast. I understand outsiders thinking it’s silly, because it is pretty silly. But silly is fun, and it was always awesome to see all your fellow students from fish to post grad smiling and yelling. One of the best traditions we have.

As an Aggie, I actually have real hope. We’ve had everything to be a national contender. We have everything a coach would need. We will build anything a coach wants. We’ve just needed a solid good coach.

We have a WR on our local HS team, he’s a 4 or 5 star recruit, that was commited to the Aggies, but decomited, i wish he was going to be an Aggie.

This man singlehandedly turned around Brian Kelly's horrid offense at Notre Dame and is a main reason why he wasn't fired. A lot of people don't know/forget about his time changing the program at ND!
How bout a shout out to Mark Stoops for staying loyal to UK in a day when loyalty is unheard of. What a move! Get paid Elko because if you struggle in the SEC, which you will, you'll wish you were still at Duke. Unless you get paid enough to ride off in the sunset.
You act like he’s never coached in the SEC before. Elko was a much better hire than stoops would have been.

If thats what you're expecting out of the "right way" then you're going to be in a world of disappointment. Especially when there's atleast 4 schools in the state and multiple in the states surrounding that will help facilitate NIL deals AND develop their players, thus leaving A&M exactly where theyve been. Getting your student atheletes some money isn't the wrong way.
Any duke fan that's mad he left shame on you. You can't even fill half your stadium with duke fans. I wouldn't want to could at a place where it means less either.
