Who is Brian Friedman?
During the first 15 years of his career, Brian Friedman was nominated 4 times at the MTV Video Music Awards, 2 times at the Music Video Production Awards, and 5 times at the American Choreography Awards for outstanding achievements in choreography. He has received a World of Dance Award in 2016 for Male Choreographer of the Year, an Industry Voice Awards in 2011 for Best Choreography in a Music Video for Britney Spears "Till the World Ends", the Choreographers Carnival London Lifetime Achievement Award in 2006, an MTV Video Music Awards for Best Choreography in a Music Video for Fatboy Slim "Weapon of Choice" (Assistant Choreographer to Michael Rooney), and in earlier years, a Recognition Awards for Dancers for Best Auditioner.
Having worked on some of the most sought after jobs in the business, his film credits include “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle”, “You Got Served”, “She’s All That”, “Austin Powers Gold Member” and “Uptown Girls”. Brian has been associated with top music artists such as Michael Jackson, Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Celine Dion, Janet Jackson, Prince, Mariah Carey, Usher, P!nK, Nicole Scherzinger, Christina Aguilera, One Direction, Cher and more. Brian was chosen to work with Simon Cowell on several of his highest ranking projects, including judging, choreographing, creative directing, and producing. These shows include “The X Factor” (US and UK), America's Got Talent & Britain's Got Talent.
Brian can be described as a pioneer entrepreneur, having opened his first dance studio at the age of 16. He got his first big break when he starred in the 1992 film “Newsies”. Soon thereafter, he was one of the breakout stars on the hit show “Kids Incorporated”, alongside Jennifer Love Hewitt and the late Brittany Murphy. He has since worked on “Dancing with The Stars”, “So You Think You Can Dance”, “Will & Grace”, “That 70’s Show”, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, David Letterman, The Ellen Show, Oprah, MTV VMA’s, VH1 Divas Live, and the Billboard Music Awards to name a few.
In addition to spending his time as a Producer, Director, Creative Director, and Choreographer, Brian enjoys giving back to the community. He has toured the world teaching and mentoring thousands of dancers by working alongside The Pulse On Tour, for which he is the Creative Director. Brian also created an interactive instructional dance DVD called “Freestyle”, teaching audiences around the world original choreography from his most renowned works.
Brian has never stopped learning, growing and venturing into new fields. He took on the fashion industry as a designer when he partnered with the international company Capezio to create his own Shoe Line called “B-Free”. This was done before he turned 25 years old. That same love for fashion led him to eventually create a full apparel & shoe line called Brian Says B Free aka BSBF. In addition, Brian currently has a costume collection titled Brian Friedman Performance & a dance wear line called Brian Friedman Dance Wear with Discount Dance Supply. Eventually he started his own online mentorship program called The Talent Collective. Kaycee doesn't dance the choreo, she dances the story. Everything is just connected together and they make one whole. Amazing. I think that's how she stands out even though she dances with other amazing dancers.

All of the ‘Outlaws’ are incredible, but even with Sean & Maddie dancing, the only person I see is Kaycee. Her movements are so sharp and nuanced and her musicality is sublime. Just watch the little head movements at the start or the position of her feet on the turn at the beginning. Incredible.
good dancer doesn't mean a good choreographer, you should be creative to become a choreographer, and Sean Lew is a good choreographer, he is prodigy

Heard the song on the radio for the first time last week, (I am a metal head), looked up the video than came the outlaws with Brian, amazing, watched other choreographer's, Brian by far the best
Can we just say how they are ALL amazing dancers? I mean in how many classes, even of advanced dancers you've been where every single person has such spot-on grasp of the moves, such musicality, perfect double pirouettes and flexibility of the neck?! it is like ALL are sublime dancers, even if we can spot particular details perfected to an even greater extent to some or details on they style of someone that make us have preferences.
I've replayed the outlaws parts many times so I get to watch everyone of those amazing dancers, but I can't get my eyes out of kaycee everytime !

They both hit it equally sharp. I think people notice Kaycee more because she's in the middle, and was able to give direct eye contact to the camera the entire time. It's human nature to look at someone when they are giving you eye contact. Both of them did amazing though!

Seb bi lol yeah of course Kaycee killed it. But Maddie killed it as well. They were equally sharp, and are both queens when it comes to facial expressions. The reason people notice Kaycee more is because of the eye contact she's able to give the camera the whole time, but both of them hits the moves at the same time, with the same sharpness. They both did amazing, and they are both great friends. No reason to compare.

Last group with little girls, IMO the black girl with the BIG hair front left was so fast and amazing, she really stood out and danced with attitude, she should have been in the front middle (although the cameraman kept on cutting her out of the frame, he/she should have zoomed out a bit better to fit everyone in properly). She was closely followed by the girl who was front middle. I felt their part was too short though, would have liked to see more.

The little girl in middle last group, grey cut off T, black NIKE, pony tail, does splits at the end...who is she? She is capturing and adorable. She is a younger version of Kaycee.
I played a lot of football. We went over the play time & time again. So, you knew what to do in your sleep no matter what happened on the field. But these kids are something special. My stepdaughter was a cheerleader & on a dance team. She would walk around the house going over & over what she had to do. At a championship she fell 15 feet onto her knee & broke it, but she did not stop. I was so proud of her. I went down to the stage & picked her up & carried her back to our seats.
I'm watching this for the...whoknowswhatnumber-th time, and I asked myself (yet again), "Am I just biased in Kaycee's favor? I *always* appreciate her best out of any group."
But I ran it again and paid attention to her detailed movements but kind of let my peripheral vision take in the girls on either side behind her, and she definitely owns it. She has flow and fun and is extremely gifted.

I'm an older viewer. This video is special.. It's tons of fun. The music reflects feels from multiple generations. The dancers are quite varied in their ages. It's just an all-encompassing feel-good-celebration. Thank you so much! My wife and I are past 60. We still do a singing show (over 1,200 shows) from all eras (Ella Fitzgerald to Elvis to Pharrell Williams) and videos like this help us continue to perpetually reset and kick-start the joy.
