i visited Korea for the first time in September and i absolutely looooooved gwangju. as you already mentioned, the people there dress so well (uhhhh i saw so many cool looking ahjummas!), are super super Kind and helpful

Today is the last day of the film festival I'm working for and so many people got sick, I'm not even joking. No covid, only flu and colds in various variations but I don't remember the last time this happened, it is strange. Thank you for taking us to see that jiggling rabbit (who looks more like a cat to me :D ) and for this vid (I discovered new music again!!), it lifted my spirits up because I'm so tired I don't even have words. Film festivals are amazing but exhausting! Hope you are well!

I'm afraid to get sick, so I've been wearing a face mask every time I ride the train because there are so many people not covering their sneezes and coughs. I look forward to seeing you wearing your finished scarf in upcoming videos. I think the colors look good together, but maybe it just needs thinner brown rows. I just finished crocheting myself a sweater that I started in April and I'm so happy I finished it in time to wear it in Korea's early winter! Stay warm, Cari!

Congrats on 5 years married! This passed weekend was my husband and my 5th wedding/11th year dating anniversary (same day Nov 3rd.) too. I also have had a cold from my husband and my 2 little cousins I nanny (both girls are in school - 4 and almost 6 years old so more ways to catch illnesses being around more people and kids.).

I also got the sickness that you described in the vlog but it’s my second time having it this year 🙃 I’m studying in Seoul rn and the quickest cure I found was these brown root(?) liquid medicine bags sold at pharmacies!! they’re usually up by the registers & the pack I got was only 3,000 won for a pack of 5. they are a lifesaver and don’t taste nasty at all! hope you don’t get sick again 😭

A few hours earlier today, I was watching one of my favorite vlogs of a couple who live on a narrowboat in England (Ben and Emily), and they were both sick! And then as I'm watching your video today, you and Kurt are sick! On the other side of the planet no less. When you were out walking around in that beautiful area, I'm surprised you didn't try grounding yourself as a possible remedy for your ailment. Would have been an interesting experiment. Okay so best way to save an ugly project is to do a border around all of it in the pretty multicolor. That way it seems intentional and you get to use the thinness of the yarn to it’s advantage.

Despite the fact that I rarely get sick and that I had 4 vaccines before leaving, 3 days into my Paris trip I caught that cold too. I was worried about Covid but only had a couple of similar symptoms. I think it was the long airplane ride, wet, rainy and cooler weather in Paris and other sick people on the Metro. Several people in my group also developed colds. Feeling much better now that I'm home.
I’ve not been the same since catching this cold 4 weeks ago. It was accompanied by an ear infection which has spread to my jaw and cause wicked TMJ 😭❤️ I hope you’re all better!
I just had the same! I was out for like 4 days like awful! I had a fever too and chills and I live in Europe so definitely a nasty cold going around! I thought recently “I wonder if she still crochets.” I think the multi colored plus solid strip combo works better if the solid is a darker shade of one of the multicolor. So like a burgundy or navy would have worked. Pro tip, if you learn to knit, you can knit without looking at your hands with means you can read or watch TV. I’m sure you can find a class.
