Great lightning display and the thunder sounded awesome. Some nice bolts seen around 2:35.
I was wondering if there were any noteworthy bolts on this one, always appreciate you pointing those out! Certainly wish I could’ve filmed this longer definitely glad I gave it a shot though lol. I’m gonna upload the long video of all of this: but my camera was facing south so I don’t think there’s gonna be any bolts, who knows. Yeah the thunder was gnarly though it’s a shame this thing decided to do all of this about 5 miles and then some to my east south east lol
@jasonsellon4270 yeah I love it when that happens lol. Nothing overhead and then when it's moving away it decides to put on a show. Luckily I have a good view to the southeast so I usually catch some anvil crawlers on the back side of thunderstorm complexes.
Right it’s kind of tough for me, I have to be back there behind that shed in that little clearing, or on my front porch, I was getting my phone wet filming this little clip, lol that heavy rain from the previous video was dripping out of that stupid oak tree. I should’ve went on my back porch and tried to catch some of it to my northeast, I just put up the main show of it, haven’t heard thunder like that in a long time.
TYSVVVVM Jason for your own lightning-filled reply to your own S-facing 5/26/24-wonderful Tstorm video..and indeed...had all those big big 1984-Tstorms been repeated today, 40 years later and all got videoed/uploaded......why...you..also Tom..Billy and Scott...and I would have had ''ZOOM-RELATED BLOCK PARTIES'' in celebration..and the same had the 1993-tons of Tstorms been repeated now 31 years later...... Anyways...I had real FUN in my own reading both yours' and Tom's own comments RIGHT HERE...and agree completely as to what you both were saying about the CGs, the thunder, and the vantage points to capture those CGs(((as for me..I got good views facing S, W and N)))...IAC...39 years ago tonight...after the killer 5/31/85 major tornado outbreak in PA, NY, and in ON....at 4am...SAT 6/1/85..I had one huge lightning show..and got the wonderful constant thunder on audiotape, Jason...it was a real party for me.....and it would have made for an AWESOMED CZcams video upload... and now...exactly 38 years ago today, I audiotaped a real nice loud Tstorm on 5/31/86...when Tom was all but close to being 3 months old, heeheee....IAC..KUTEW with the latest Tstorm-video uploadings...Tom and i are always here to view and comment((manuscript)) heeeheee...
How so awsome on that lightning show! I’ve got more storm chances over the next few days so hopefully I’ll get some more.
