You're lucky there were no instructions with it. My instructions show the wrong way to put the battery's i and just as I was ready to give up, because it wouldn't power up. I watched this video and it shows the correct way to install the battery's.

How long did your batteries last in this camera?
Not sure, mine have been in more than a month and still show full level.

Yes!
My camera keeps turning off after few seconds when I start recording and so the recording stops. Is there a way for it to still keep recording instead of it stopping??
My camera stops recording after a few seconds if there is no motion detected.
@@Iscaper Oh... so like for eg: I wanted to record one of our caterpillars getting into their pupa stage. So it will just turn off? Too bad...

I have 2 and they don't record video. Just shows a black screen.
Does the display and menu show up after installing batteries and SD card? If not be sure the batteries and SD card are installed correctly. If the display and menu appear you need to select video from image menu.
