I'm an aspiring S&C coach myself and I found this video to be really cool. Those 3D cameras during the weight lifting look incredibly useful. The use of such technology is gonna be a game changer in the profession.
Technology isn’t always the answer. Look at all the legends back in the day…they didn’t have all this fancy stuff. Granted times are different now days. But imagined how they did it!!

That is incredible technology
They obviously know what they're doing, but only a slight critique would be the shoe choice during the weight-lifting. They should recommend the athletes wear the flat, non-cushioned shoes when weight-training.
I think that in most athletic programs they actually prefer weightlifting shoes which have a heel that keep the athlete upright during squatting and allows more rom. To powerlifting style shoes which are flat

So why would you get rid of a national championship winning strength and conditioning coach? Or he bailed out when coach Kelly came?
Kelly let him go like he did with all but 1 coach. Obviously he has his guy he likes if they been together that long. Flint gets praised by all the players interviewed
Because LSU football needed a complete culture reset from the top down. Ed O ran the program like a frat house and we faced numerous injuries under the previous S&C coach after they would tell the public how healthy the team was

You can change the culture if you keep the same program leaders.

After watching this video and being a Purple and Gold fan, I now realize how important Tommy Moffit was to this program. With that said I just also viewed some of the inside of this New regime change. We (LSU) are genuinely screwed with these new guys presently.
New coach, new regime...nothing wrong with shaking things up. Fresh perspective and techniques may be what's needed to get LSU back to the top.
You couldn't be more wrong. Moffit was great and he's one of the very best in the business but it was time to move on. LSU needed to clean house and start fresh from every aspect of the football ops. Kelly and the new regime will be and do just fine.
You watched a reporter workout and came to the conclusion that we're screwed?
A lot of this technology was brought in under Moffitt and Mariucci, who is still around had a big hand in it, too. LSU has been wearing GPS trackers, but they changed vendors it looks like. The 3D camera at the racks is the same, but different looking software.
Almost every position coach is an upgrade, so not sure why people think LSU is screwed?
Moffit was terrible at his job at the end look at all the Injuroes we had all the players that weren't in shape.. this staff knows how to take care of the players and monitor all of them keeping them out of the portal.

LSU has been on the cutting edge of S&C and Recovery for a couple decades now. Most college programs have been influenced by their programs and work done by Moffitt and Mariucci.
