Years ago in areas of Northeast Arkansas and southeast Missouri cotton growing cotton on the sandy ground Farmers would plant winter wheat to use as a catch area to protect seedling cotton from sand damage but these areas were combined in June for grain.... blowing sand would cut young cotton down..
While I understand the need for finding better tillage practices...I doubt it will be less than 10 years before some salesmen in N.Dakota re-invents selling the plow...my point is...what we bought 5 years ago isn't good enough...but looking at my dad's vhs tapes from our fields in the late 80's, they look just as well tilled with 160 hp tractors and discs.
These two gentlemen really opened my mind about farming! I learn things every time when your video is on! Appreciated very much.
Love the videos. What happened to the full episodes?

I wonder just how big the equipment is going to get in the next 20 or so years?
What grass seed do you recommend that will not be killed off by dicamba, etc. ?
