Great stuff Peter! 😁👍 Thanks!
Wow! I'm SURPISED and EXCITED while watching this video. You DEMONSTRATE how to perform all the shots in DETAILS. All the techniques shown here are useful to me. What I LIKE the MOST is the section where you emphasize the advantage of 16-35mm lens with PUSH IN shot. You show 2 different footage at the same time. One was shot with a 50mm while the other with a 16-35mm. They show a huge difference and it sticks in my head.
You're a very EFFECTIVE instructor. NO WONDER you get 609K subscribers. We need MORE TUTORS like you. Thank you for such a great job!
Your smooth methods are def better than moving just the upper body. Thanks for the will def be trying this out
Great video . Now all I need to do is get out and try these techniques 👍🏻And I do wish more manufacturers would make more use of their hot shoes. That Sony mic setup is so convenient .
Peter, I would like to see more videos such as this that demonstrates camera moves and gives of explanations of how to and why...As someone who is trying to learn how to make Videos, (just for fun and personal use) I find videos like this hard to find. The other thing its also good to try and find videos that are to the point and kinda no more than 5-6 minutes long is good. To many Creators IMO create videos that are far to long. I dont think to many poeple want to spend 20-30 Minutes watching stuff. This video you nailed
Another great video Peter! Love your stuff. Super valuable and authentic. I always know that when I choose to watch one of your videos, I'm always going to enjoy it. Super easy to understand, instructional, simplified...I've learnt so much from watching your content, and I have to say thank you for that!
Slide with pan is my go to ☺️🎥 nicely done man! 🙌🏻
So good!
Epic video Pete!! Make more videos like this!!!! You are an inspiration!!!
Nice! I love seeing this; you returning back to the camera tutorial days. Big time fan man. I also purchased your Final Cut X course. God bless you and your fam.
Brilliant tips. Thanks ! Subscribed!
Love these practical use videos, so much good info, thanks!
Love the video!!! Keep up the great work!
As always. A banger 💪🏻
Great vid... You had me at the "epic furniture" shots... dude I miss these videos! So damn helpful and informative!
Love it! Yeah!
Some great techniques Peter, thanks for sharing 🙏
Very solid video Peter. Truly enjoyed it and learned a ton!!
I’m imagining you doing the twist dance with the song 😂
Awesome video! Appreciate this! Thank you!
Absolutely true words Peter 👍🏻 Manuel focus is very often the gamechanger 💪🏼 best cinematic greetings from germany
Thanks Peter this is really helpful ❤
Great video thanks Peter!
Peter, your knowledge is invaluable, thank you for helping me to become a better photographer/videographer 👍
Really good course ❤ thanks a lot
Brilliant video - thanks!
Great stuff 💯👌🔥
Great techniques Peter!
Fantastic suggestions. Some of the best I've seen in a long time. Cheers.
Very helpful! Thanks for the video.
Jättebra tips på enkla och användbara tekniker Peter - det uppskattas! 😃
great Video! (as always)
Thx for this video tips,i want to try now all this 😊
Love those videos!👍
Sos un tipazo, Peter 👏
Great video Peter learn a lot
The BIG Peter!!!!!
loved that video
Great video thanks
Great video!
Refreshing course for me. Thank you so much. Now i understand why ultra wide is most used lens.😊
So good to see you make something like this again.
There will be another one in four years 🫡😂
Great video and tips thank you Peter. Good to have to regularly back after your epic build !! One request; I’d love to see a video from you around how to do manual focus on a Sony. I’m Auto all the way currently but seeing that DJI handle etc that came out it’s got me thinking I should really learn manual focus which I find a little intimidating if I’m honest. Anyway might be something for a future video as there aren’t a lot of them out there to be honest !
Great video! Thank you for the ideas!
Glad it was helpful!
This is so good bro!
Great video 🎉
Great tips there Peter! I usually turn the servo off but manual might be a better way. The rav is looking awesome by the way 👍
I love it. thanks bro
Amazing work
Thanks Peter sir ❤
One other thing I like with your videos is that you dont rush like some others that do tutorials and they go that fast you cant take it all in!
this was vintage sony aiii Peter time Lindgren tutorial, thanks for the update and share :D
Yeah just wanted to make something for beginners again haha
wow, Peter, your a-roll in the studio quality is 🔥! It always looked good, but I dunno what you did, and now it looks even better!
Thanks so much!
I said this on another channel... we must push YT to start giving certificates from certain educational channels like this guy. I started following Peter when i was about to start my photography journey. I have learned more from him and other YT creators than when I registered at the local college paying around $5k on student loan (money i don't have!) for a fucking semester and at the end, the instructors were using YT to teach and show examples, excuse my language. Thank you for what you do Peter and I look forward to expand my knowledge and ideas from your videos!g YT to teach and show examples, please excuse my language. Thank you for what you do Peter and I look forward to expand my knowledge and ideas from your videos!
Good tips Peter
Great video, as always. Will try these technics in my next project. Tho I only got a 35mm as my widest low aperture lens ^^. Might need to think about getting a ultra wide one with zoom capabilities.
slide + pan = 👌🏻 thanks peter!
The best!
Peter shows it takes great wiggly work to shoot compelling video.
Thanks, Peter! I'm excited to try these!
Do it! Super simple to get crispy shots!
@@PeterLindgren1 I’ll tag you when I do!
Thanks for the tips, Peter! As a mobile videographer, which camera should I pick up first?
Nice informative video sir
The *most* important tip here is to include your exercise gear, RC Cars and everything else one own, because then it’s tax deductable as a prop for the productions :)
Jokes aside: nice to see you back to some basic camera technique videos, always good with some reminders :)
Gonna try these out on my next video for my channel together with the 7 shot sequence that Becki & Chris made a video about a while back :)
Wow. This took me back to your early videos. Great advice and makes us want to go out, try them and build confidence. Such a great presentation and inspiring. 🔥🔥🔥
some good tips there
I have followed your channel since your cool b-roll videos, especially the office one and I think that's when you are at your best. Tips, tricks and BTS to cool, stylish cinematic shorts and the shorts themselves. JMO. Wish you the best!
Can’t teach the same thing over and over though 🤷🏻
@@PeterLindgren1 Yes, I'm trying to understand. I was just watching the "no more vlogs?" video and it sure makes me think. Maybe in different aspects, situations, realms of life. I don't have too many ideas. All I'm trying to say is I feel your talent should be maximised. You don't have to listen to shit I say. Just thinking out loud.
This is a video I made with cousins who were in 9th grade, inspired by your office b-roll video. We had so much fun. So yea thanks and wish you well!

Nice guy👍
Frikin love it man! Keep the awesome tips coming!
Separate note, METAL \m/, ever listen to doom? Pallbearer just came out with a new album and it's fantastic! Different but fantastic
Peter, One thing I have always wondered with your studio Vlogs is what are or how do you do that zooming thing with the camera focused on you when you reach back or dont reach back ?
Tung du e Peter 🫡
Great video Peter. How you liking the X1 Carbon?
I love it 🤌🏼
It’s amazing that I’m transitioning from drone to full frame camera and here you are helping out along my journey. Epic timing. Road to 1 million.
What type of stabilization you use with the ZV-E1 for these shots?
Just the regular steady shot 💪🏼
🙏🤘❤️
Would you still use manual focus for the push in shot? If so, at which point of the push would you set your focus? Would it be better to have a higher f stop to make sure more was in focus over the entire shot?
It depends if I have a foreground or not. It all comes down to the type of shot. Generally I’d use Manual Focus for the majority of things!
Have you done a speed ramping tutorial ?
Many times
Thanks or as we say in Swedish - tack som fan 😂
Are you not using ND filters for video? Thank you for the great tipps!! 😊
Totally depends on the situation!
Great video!
How do you white balance your shots?
Most of the time I just stay at 5500 👍🏼
@PeterLindgren1 Thanks! Indoors too? Love the Tri-Charge BTW.
Depends on the situation!
Thanks man!!
Would a smaller camera make those handheld shots easier? I have a r6markii but with the lens and camera I get too shaky for it to look good even in 60 fps slowed. I could also imagine a bigger and thus heavier camera making it easier, because of the weight?
Nope! The heavier the camera, the steadier the shots!
You could just add weight to the camera 💪🏼
How do u achieve those super dark backgrounds and well exposed subject, without getting any grain and also looking good? for smartphone if possible
Always light and expose for the subject 👍🏼💪🏼
I’ve been doing photography for about 3 years now and have barely touched video work but seeing your video is giving me the courage to start learning! Awesome video man!🙏🏾
Hello Peter :) I greet you. I'm interested in how you stabilize the hand-held material! I would appreciate an answer very much! Kind regards, Lo :)
Just click stabilise in Final Cut Pro 🫡
@@PeterLindgren1 Thank you very much for your answer :) As far as the stabilization is concerned, Da Vinci still needs to improve something. Peter… I have a question. You inspired me a lot when creating videos! Would it be possible to show you one or two of my projects and for you to give your opinion on them? I know you're very busy. And if that doesn't work, that's okay :) Kind regards from Germany, Lo
Ukwenzelani umfana haha uyamithisa😂. Unkulunkulu ukuthandile sisi. Ungasikhiphi isisu
Thanks for the info dude .. Useful info but I waited to see how you would set your manual focus, you only said it and showed the shot but you didn't show it on the camera how to set the manual focus. Or did I miss it somewhere?
Just choose manual focus, it's different on each camera! On mine i just flick it on or off on the lens or with a button in the back that i've customized =)
@@PeterLindgren1 Gotcha ... my favo guy .. keep it coming .
do you turn ibis on or off or with ibis boost
Just leave it at standard
Ska studera in detta ordentligt och försöka mig på👌 blir sugen att lämna canon och gå till Sony😬
Do it 🔥🔥
Hi, Luts link is not working
hiii
I got a manual focus only lens and now I think auto focus is the devil
I also started using much higher aperture
I'M NOT HATING!!! But, hear me out.
All these tips are great and all, but the takeaway for a beginner here is "Just shoot it in slowmo". And while I agree that these tips will get you out of jam occasionally, they aren't necessarily available to everyone. For most cameras and phones, extreme slowmo will greatly diminish the quality of the video, additionally to not having good enough stabilization. If the requirements for these tricks to work is having a $1000+ phone (on the low end) or a $4000+ camera kit, as universal these look, the reality is they are not.
And if by any chance you're still reading, yes, I know.
"Good phones are getting cheap, and cheap phones are getting good" - MKBHD
And so are cameras, but we're not there yet, where you would consider 100-120fps video as standard features, in either 4K or1080p.
This is a good video, with great advice and all good intentions. But the premise of it, plainly put, is unrealistic.
Well that’s why it’s called simple camera tricks.
It’s not meant to be for any camera, but you could easily pull this off with a Zv1/ZVE-10 or something similar.
Exactly how big are your upper arms? 😳
Lol. I was almost done with the video you made after this. I think you privated it. Just kind of funny. Just saying... I agreed with everything you said in it I wasn't at the very end but. Maybe you picked your nose and watched it back or said something that was a mistake. Either way love your videos and videos like that one or actually very helpful for me. This video is good too but I've already seen it.. lol
I felt like it was a good video, but didn’t really provide anything other than me ranting about stuff.
Feels unnecessary to leave it up even though I thought it was some valid thoughts.
@@PeterLindgren1 yeah, I feel that. From an outside perspective, I get what you’re saying. maybe it could’ve been half the length but it was enjoyable. But I’ve definitely unlisted videos. I thought I was just making noise as well. In fact, there’s a few on my channel I’m still thinking about. Have a good one.
Can i get a free drone from you
Yeah sure, if I can get some free money from you 👍🏼
This guy is still making videos 🤦🏻♂️
Been my job full time for 4,5 years, And people still enjoy them!
Hope your day is great 🫡
