Eidola has a vastly underrated backlog. They're a low roar of a band (and do have to screaming in the past) in the vein of A Lot Like Birds in a way. A great sound and a lot of talent, but just didn't blow up for whatever reason.
Intricate music never really breaks out. It takes too much brain power to listen to. The average person just wants shit that’s easy to digest; like pop.

YEEESSS LET'S GO, man if you like the chaotic structure I highly recommend you listen to Houses Movement III: Rust/Rebuild. That song is by far my favorite song by them, and by far the most chaotic they have imo. The whole album "To Speak, To Listen" is amazing. Man I can't stress how happy I am that you finally checked them out lol

Andrew is swole as hell and The Architect is in my top 5 AOTY list and Mutual Fear has to be my favorite song off the record and their guitarist Sergio Medina is their second vocalist and he screams. thus is experimental metal with post-hardcore and metalcore influences. this and 2 other songs from the album are heavy the rest is slower but with good riffs
It's a good album by them. It's definitely a fun and enjoyable listen, but not a AOTY contender for me. Huge Protest the Hero influence in their sound in my opinion
This sound is hard to get right. Many have tried and many have failed. It's either too much going on, vocals too high, or riffs too boring. This time it was finally done pretty well

The Architect is tied with Darko for my AOTY. I can't decide quite yet, but everytime I listen to The Architect front to back it gets even better.
