I have the toro timecutter 54" and the flat tire issue has happened twice in the past 3 months. Very frustrating, but I'm glad to know this is a known issue. Thanks for the video.
Glad it helped 🙂
We have the front tire problem also, Toro please fix. We love our Toro, great mower. This was a great helpful video , thanks so much!!!
Glad to help :)
In the 3rd season with my Time Cutter. One of my front tires flat every other week. The other front tire has a slower leak. Also, those valve stems aren't easy to get a air chuck on.
I was also going to mention the valve stem location. Not easy to get onto without getting grease on your hands.
I have had a Toro Time cutter Z4220 for almost 14 years now. The front tires were my biggest challenge to keep inflated. I eventually found flat free tires, same size and hub design by Marathon Flat Free tires and they have worked fantastic for years now.
I love my Toro zero turn mower.
Awesome. Thank you for sharing.
You gotta part number for them tires?
@@mellowdramatic33 sorry don't have a specific part number. I just went to the Marathon Flat Free Tire website and found the same size flat Free tire and hub design for my mower on their website and placed an order. I have been using these tires for years now. The ride is a little more rough, but at least I don't have to worry about flat tires on the front of my mower.
I have a Timecutter SS 5000 (model 74637) that I bought last year second hand and I've had this same annoying problem of finding the tires almost flat each week I go out to mow my 2.5 acres. Thanks for the video giving a solution!
I know how frustrating that could be. These tires help for sure.
My Zero Turn (MX 4200) is great; I've owned it for about 5 years. My biggest recurring problem with it is the front tire condition noted in this video. I've begun to consider buying two foam filler replacement wheels and tires (Amazon, about $100 for the pair). If Toro offered a solid rubber solution, I'd buy it!!!
Sorry to hear that you're facing this issue as well. Consider trying out the tires in this video. We have only received good feedback from users you tried it.
Yes, I am having to air my front tires approximately every other week.
Recently i had to buy a universal tire because one of the original tires stopped holding air.
Thats how i came across this video.
Love my Timecutter overall but these front tires have been a pain.
Thank you for this video
Glad this helped Marvin. Thank you for watching 🙂
Yes! I had this problem 3 days ago. It is crazy. Luckily a neighbor had an air pump, but still.... I will order some of your tires.
We're sorry about the tires Ryan. I am sure you like these flat free's much much better.
I'm dealing with this problem now....UGH! Thanks for the video!!
Sorry you're going through that. Hope this video helped.
I have a toro time cutter zero turn 32” bought new in 2011. It is hard to believe I have not had a flat in all this time. But almost impossible to put air in the front tires while on the tractor. I had to take them off to add air. Last year I got smart and got some long valve extensions to screw on, add air the unscrew from the valve. But the front tires seem to be worn and was thinking about hard rubber tires for the front. Thanks for the advice on the tire set.
That's great (and almost unbelievable haha) that you've avoided getting a flat all these years. However, if you are in the market for new tires, definitely check out the rotary flat free tires. Cannot love this product more.
Link is pinned in this comment section.
I just bought my Toro TC 54” MAX and after first mow with it I got this problem with one of the fronts.
We're so sorry to hear that. You might want to try the tires in the video. We've only had positive feedback from the users who switched.
It is a nightmare of a problem. Toro, PLEASE listen to your customers!!!!!! Either put tubeless tires, or solid, never flat tires. I have a SS3225 and what a pia!!!! 🤬
Bought some never flat tires last year. One of my best purchases thus far.
They really are great!
Greaaat. I just bought one and I’m waiting for delivery. Now I have tire issues to expect.
I've had same problem with front tires also .. my back tire went flat just a few days ago .. would be nice to start off with a tubeless tire
I haven’t had that problem yet on my timecutter but I only have 7 hours on my machine so we shall see, I might have to be proactive and put a pair of airless wheels on there
That would be my recommendation.
This is second Toro Timecutter and never had front tire problem, but both front tires on 2021 have bulges and are getting replaced. Toro, fix this problem.
I just bought some no flat tires for my toro.
Awesome. Welcome to the stress free club 🙂
I watched this video and several like it and bought "flat free tires/solid rubber" for my Exmark Radius E 60". They are great for people like me that had to clear their land from scratch and still have thorns here and there. I have had them on my mower all of 2023. But, here's some things to think of. They make your ride bumpier. They are solid rubber so if you're like me and mow several acres and your land had soy beans on it 3 years ago you will feel it considerably more. Also, my lawn is 4 acres and I mow probably 3 1/2 acres. I do question how these will hold up. I have a small chunk taken out of one of the tires and put some sealant on it and it's fine so far. If you have a small yard I think these would be great but I have doubts with the amount of mowing that I do that they'll last more than a few years. The reason I got these is that I still have thorns and stuff in a few areas I cut. Also, make sure you buy the tires like the gentleman that made this video has. Get the ones with the zerk fittings on them. There are some that don't have them so make sure you get the ones you can shoot grease into once a year. If you have a smaller, smoother lawn these should last quite some time. Overall, I am happy with them.
That is such a great review. Thank you for taking the time out and sharing it with us.
The same thing happened to my 2024 54" timecutter max. (Front tires totally suck!)
Sorry to hear that. Try the tires in the video, we've only recieved positives feedback for them.
Yes i have one flat now and the other one is slack....Toro plz put no flat tires on these mowers
Yes. I hate these flat tires. Love the mower
I have a 42 inch Time cutter that I bought in 2013, still works great.
But, my number one complaint is the front tires, mine are tubeless and when they go flat, I have to take them
to a tire shop to get them inflated again. They are pain to try to inflate since they are tubeless.
A mower repair shop wants to charge 20 to 25 dollars to air em back up.
I found a tire shop that does it for 10.
I will have to check on the flat free tires, sounds like a good solution.
Being a mower shop ourselves, I see soooo many customers with the same problem with their front tires. That's why we created this video. Switch to the flat free tires, and you will be a much happier man.
have this problem with both front tires.....get on it Toro
I love the mower and hate the tires. I just had a tube blowout today and wish Toro would offer a better tire. Thanks!
If only i could get a dollar for every time I have heard "I love the mower and hate the tires." Get the flat frees Tyler, I promise you'll be a happier man.
I have the same problem with my 42" toro ztr I wish toro would fix it.
The more people mention that here, the more chances of TORO actually doing something about it. Share this video with all your friends/colleagues that might feel the same.
I agree! Great channel. I will come back for me great tips. Thanks!
Thank you for watching and commenting
Same issue with a 2000 series!! Spray soapy water on front tires and there will be 5-10 pin holes. So small you can't plug but enough that I put air in both tires 2x a day! Very frustrating. Give us solid tires or a heavy rubber pneumatic tire.
Yesss. It's been a pain for a lot of people we know.
Hi, thanks for the video.
I have exactly this problem with my Torro ZS4200S, and just like you, apart from this problem I really rate the mower.
I live in Europe (France), and I don't seem to be able to access your link to the wheel. Might you be able to post another link, or perhaps the make and model of the repolacement wheel, or perhaps just the dimensions? Many thanks.
I would like to see the discharge chute redone. I don't plan on buying an over priced bagger system and would love to see an option for making the deck flush like it should be. Maybe i will drill a couple of holes for a piece of metal over this problem since Toro thinks it's okay to lift the chute so objects can hit the operator.
Solid tubeless tire should be standard equipment. I have tubeless on wheel barrows and a lawn trailer.
Having this problem
So sorry to hear that. We recommend trying the tires in the video. We've received great responses from people that have switched to it.
Yes, my timecutter 42, front tires were flat, so I was going to inflate to 6psi. However, I did not notice that the tire was cracked open, and the tube came out and exploded. The mower is only two years old, garage keep. 😮😮😮
I have repeatedly had this problem with my time cutter 50. The right front tire has to be inflated every cut. Sometimes even while cutting. It kinda sucks paying $3200+ for a mower and the tires won't even stay inflated from cut to cut. Also having no hour meter seems backwards also.
Sorry to hear that. The tires discussed in this video will help for sure. We also have a video on installing an hour meter to your timecutter in literally 5 minutes. Check it out by searching "install hour meter on timecutter" on our channel, you might find it useful.
The problem I'm having is the same thing except the mower itself is flattening the tire every time I turn around the tire hits the deck and flattens itself
Also it is very unsafe because it takes away from the steering of the mower
Just popped my 42 inch Toro front tire
Yep yep
I've had this problem, wish Toro would provide tubeless option for front and back tire
Tubeless won’t help. My Toro came tubeless on the fronts and I battle flats all the time. You need flat-free tires.
Love the mower - hate the front factory tires!
Every week I have to drag the compreser hose over and fill my tire! I thought it was just me.... sounds like I'm not the only one! C'mon TORO "you can fix it"...
We're in this together. haha. Thank you for commenting.
What tire replaces the one on my Timecutter MX 75754 54”. The parts manual shows
Caster Wheel Tire TIRE [11X6-5 SMOOTH (2 PLY)] MODEL: 140-0374
Just found you guys. Thanks for your content. I have the terrible "flat" on the front. Why haven't Toro R&D guys come up with a squishy gel type, self healing/sealing tire? It would be less "bouncy" and stop the clunking. I have an older 4200 and have 2 issues that maybe you can help with. 1)the deck keeps coming off the deck hanger on the right side. 2) what attachment/use is the square hole on the back bumper? I would like to pull a small cart for limbs and such. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and have a Blessed Day 😊
50 inch no tube TORO , dry rot in 3 years garge kept light use . Where can I buy just the tire? All i See online is the rim and tire
Have this issue about every 4 mows with the timecutter 3200.
So sorry to hear that. Try the tires in the video, we've received great response from its users.
I have this issue with my Timecutter 54' 75754 model, and it's even tougher to air up.
Wish I knew the proper air pressure, for the front and rear tire.
We're sorry you're facing that problem. You can find the correct tire pressure for your TimeCutter simply by a quick google search, or by contacting your dealer.
I have that exact mower. It’s 14 PSI for front and 13 for rear.
I have this problem at least twice a year. Currently ignoring the flat and mowing with it flat. Will do so until the tire falls off and I am forced to repair it. Tired of messing with flats on these. Ridiculous!
We're very sorry to hear that. We do encourage to you to try yhr wheels mentioned in this video. We've had a ton of positive response from people that switched to these from the standard ones that came on their timecutter.
Where can I get rubber tire for Toro
I guess I will find out just purchased the 75750 so far still has air.
The 75750 doesn’t have this problem, it’s a wider tire and isn’t as prone to losing its bead
I have looked all over for a 4.1/3.50-4 center hub no flat tire for my Toro Zero Turn. I have ordered on Amazon. Never got them. Do you know where I can get 2 of them?

100% agree. love the time cutter. front tires are trash.
Try this alternative
Sorry if already asked. Whats the best PSI for this tire?
~15 PSI
my 3200 tires are tubelis but only go flat if you hit a fence post or the edge of a curb very hard to inflate
Same problem.
Same Solution 🙂
@@mainstreetmower I bought some today.
@@h2oFun Awesome! Be sure to let us know how you like them after putting a few hours on them.

Awesome. Thank you for watching.
little things like this, and there are a few with Toro, make me decide on another brand next time I invest thousands in a mower
That's fair. What other brand options are you considering for your next purchase?
do you recommend the 1.5 or 2.0 height setting on this mower for best results cutting Bermuda
Thank you for this video I have a z4235 model 74366 and I need the bagger how I can find it thank you
What is bore size,,link says the tires bore is 7/8........toro website says 3/4 inch axle on my 2014 42 inch timecutter,,i too have constant flat tires
When my Timecutter was delivered I ask if the front tires were solid. Nope, but thanks for the info.
Sorry, your Timecutter did not come with solid front tires?
@@mainstreetmower no but I will get these and switch them out when I get a flat.
I am a long time Toro fan. But on my personal zero turn time cutter the front tires continually go flat. I am dealing with that issue today. I am so frustrated that I am thinking of selling my Turo, and buying a bad boy!
Buying these tires would be cheeper, quicker and stress free. But it's your call sir, do what makes your mowing the easiest for you. ☺
@@mainstreetmower Thanks! I am still a Toro guy. Called your store this morning and left a message but no call back yet. My Timecutter has 11x6-5 tires and these are a different size. I would like to buy them from you guys if I knew they fit.
@@georgiafatboymowingandtrac7293 I am very sorry about that. Which store did you call at? I can look into what happened and maybe have them call you back.
@@mainstreetmower thanks so much for the response! I don’t know which one I called. All I need to know is if they fit the Toro Timecutter 54” with the 11x6-5 tires. Then I can order them off the link you provided. I have been a fan of Main Street mowers and your content for years. Thanks for the info!
@@georgiafatboymowingandtrac7293 Hi, unfortunately the tires on that link would not fit your mower. And we do not yet have that size in flat free's either.
I installed these tires on my timecutter 42” what pressure should I set the rear tires at
~15 PSI
Outstanding thank you after I installed the flat free tires on the front. I mistakenly left the rear at 13 pounds and it definitely created some scalping. I totally didn’t think about airing up the rear tires to maximum inflation.
@@chadbrooks9029 Awesome. Glad it helped. 🙂
@@mainstreetmower do you recommend the 1.5 or 2.0 height setting on this mower for best results cutting Bermuda
Question. I have the 50" Toro Timecutter that has 18x9.5x8 rear wheels and want to know if I can install the Toro 20x10x10 wheels on this mower? Is the lug nut spacing and rim offset the same for both set of wheels? Thanks...
Can’t find this in your store. Google isn’t returning results either. Link?
We are working on changing some parameters of our website to allow us to ship. Currently we only allow customers within 25 miles to checkout. This is an aftermarket part from Rotary, just about every mower shop in the country orders from them, part # 15087
I have the same problem with my Toro zero turn. 😢

The tires in the video. Check them out on the link attached in the description.
Well, guess what l'm dealing with right now, thanks Toro
Sorry to hear that man Try the flat frees. You'll be happier.
I have had that many punctures in my toro timecutter front wheels I fill them with foam now.
How long does that last for?
@@mainstreetmower Lasted over a year so far.
@@trevorburton2718 wow, that's not bad at all. thank you for sharing.
Nice but someone told me that if you install the solid tire on do you will lost the suspension, is it true.
Yes, the solid tires will make your ride a bit rougher
Yea. And, the valve is so close to the hub that it’s hard to get any air fitting in there. You certainly can’t use a bike pump. So basically, you’ve gotta get an air compressor with a slim 90 deg fitting just to refill the tire.
Frustrating at best.
I hate the rear tires on the 34” timecutter. Can you recommend another?
Check out the Tweels. Personally really like them.
For $4000 I paid for a Toro 42" zero turn and I already have a flat. WTH...They owe me!!

Deal with this all the time. What a hassle
Sorry to hear that. The tires in the video are a perfect solution tho.
On top of the cheap tire issue you forgot to mention the cheap axle bushings. I would be glad to pay Toro for some high quality ball bearings and tires. It seems quality is no longer an option.
