Great video! I've always run a longsword and a crossbow, and it's hard to imagine not having any range, but you make it look so easy! I might have to give it a try.

a tip for clerics to always reposte, you want to crouch look the opposite direction and have a slight tilt up for the parry always works and its unavoidable for them. hope this helps
id love to see you do parry guides for other maps, the way you explain where to aim in relation to the mob's body parts is something i find super consistent and useful, and not really seen in other parry guides on YT.
Pretty good guide all-in-one how to farm ap, pvp,pve. Also good comparison long-sword is amazing pve but kinda hard pvp and lantern shield is like opposite

Have you considered bringing a Divine Blade to help clear mobs faster?
if you are having trouble with skeleton halberdmen when using longsword, both aim and move to the left. Aim for left blade part of the halberd. hope this helps.
Great vid. So i started this on the fighter but the frost caster deamon took me a long time to kill and i panicked when i came across the frost wraith. Can you do a seperate parry video that quickly coveres all the mobs ( including cobolt?) i mean im learning on the job but this would be valuable content.

For farming AP I always play on Ice Caverns. Once I hit demigod for the season, I start playing on my secondary fighter, so I can enjoy HR PvP.

Buffering lantern shield and don’t loot mobs were news to me. Thanks!
Really only ever loot mobs if I need the quest items otherwise it's just not worth your time.
Only mobs worth looting are mummy’s, death skulls, bosses, and mini bosses

quick question, i saw your troll parry guide, and i saw that you dont take damage when you parry but when i hit a parry i still take damage, what am i doing wrong?
You still have to dodge the attacks

@@srek6669you still have to be out of the way of the attacks, you are just letting the troll hit the sword, you aren’t using it as a shield.

@@srek6669 u are probably getting hit by the splash damage u probably need to be a bit farther away from the club
Such a bummer that barbs are so much worse than fighters in clearing pve.. takes me twice as long on my barb as my fighter and we have no self sustain options in regard to healing

I don't even know what AP I know the high roller have a ''cost'' but what it's for never spend anything when I went in except 100g .
like ive seen the term before but still have no clue what is it ..
The cost gets taken out at the end of the game, say you come out with 1000 ap, your rank might cost 100 ap and 100 gold to enter, you will spend 100g to go in and come out with 900 ap
You got 110 ap for a single kill on the frost map?
I watched another streamer on goblin town get 40 ap for two kills is there a difference for the maps or is it red zone kills?
@@Alfie-ni7lx AP varies based on the number of divisions between you and the player. It's all based on ranks.

Idk what region you play in but for me frost mountain is the complete opposite, my girlfriend and I just started playing about a week ago and it feels like everytime we play the frost map we run into crazy geared players within a couple minutes and die instantly, but then we play goblin caves and don’t run into a single person the entire time

Had no idea u can parry combo with lantern shield. Is that only with arming sword or all weapons?
All weapons, rondel dagger has an infinite combo attack so you can hold the second riposte for as long as you like.
Why do you not keep potions on your belt? is it just in case of a player missing you due to poor visibility?
You are completely invisible in dark spots if you have a shadow covering your silhouette, however potions glow in the dark and give you away. Also, I find they are the first thing I notice when I spot players, so I built muscle memory to always remove them.

I’m getting like 1400 ap not including fee. Trying to mirror what you’re doing not sure maybe I’m breaking pots which you appear to almost never do. Probably skill issue of too much time healing and enemies not dying efficiently enough. With demigod being 800 entry fee you really need to be breaking 2k once in a while or the grind will take months!

Only the longsword, lantern shield and flute.
I have to get on my friends so much for how they pull enemies because they just carelessly walk forward when fighting an enemy and bring 3 more forward every time. I always tell them dont walk into an area you havent cleared they say they havent yet somehow they pulled more mobs so something doesnt add up.
Clearly, they are not following the golden rule...

I think so, but you are better off learning HR cave troll/cyclops and looting the pile with luck pots and gear.

How do you deal with warlocks with this build?
That's the cool part, you don't! Haha, seriously just try to avoid them and play super patient. I had 5 kills and 0 deaths vs them this farm and every win was just because they got bored and made a mistake.

Is there a reason why people don't use divine blade over the normal longsword?
My reason was I am SSF and didn't have access to one yet, but divine blade is superior to blue longsword.

Wait there is actually a lower level to the Ice dungeon? How was I ever supposed to fin this out? So much of this game goes completely unexplained, which can be a good thing. Just not always.

There's a part of the dungeon with a bottomless pit, once it turns red near the end of the timer for the dungeon you jump in and that's the 2nd level. It sounds super troll telling you to jump off a cliff but I promise that's how it works lol.
@@TheKaratejesus I was just surprised to see it in the video since I hadn't come across anything in game that even hinted at it. I thought the castle was the only dungeon that had a "second level" so to speak. I'm super excited to check it out though, this makes the ice caverns much more appealing to me.

Have yet to see a single video including an ice dragon probably would have if I watched the video for how to handle all ice cave mobs, but I like to try learning without videos first. I think i did see an image of it once though. When I did see it I just figured it was in a portion of the map I haven't seen yet. I hardly know my way around the goblin caves I know the other two maps even less.

Aint no way your telling people 15hrs to demigod 😂, acting like pvp is that easy for everyone, your average person isnt getting 15 consecutive kills, the average DaD player is lucky if they get a few pvp kills a night 😂.
This "guide" amounts to "getting demi is easy just play the game".
Cool parry tech tho, didint know you could sneak a main hand swing between the parry hits with the shield.
Did you even watch the video? PvP is not part of this strategy and can actually get in the way of you maximizing your AP gain.
@bonzai9802 I did, I was basically quoting him, when he showed his first death he said he had gotten 15 pvp kills prior, also "avoid pvp" isn't a viable strategy most people who will be aggressive in dungeon are gonna chase u down so unless ur bard rogue or druid odds are your gonna get caught
yow, if we've some gear shouldn't waste time looting mobs and just go for chest, or in general (even without gear) is better avoid the loot time from mobs and go ahead for chest/boxes?
