But recently BJP has been only focusing on his bad things and portraying him as a murderer when reality he established law and order in the areas that he ruled, giving special attention to the people he ruled. The department of police and post were efficient. His judicial system was very good as everybody was equal before the law and justice was the order of the day. He established libraries and madrassas. During his rule, Lahore also became a great center of learning and culture.

On the other hand, Al-Ma'mun was fanatical towards the Mu'tazila sect and practiced repression against other sects in the "sedition of the creation of the Qur'an", and asked the Sabians of Harran to choose between converting to Islam or killing, and he also practiced severe repression against the Coptic Christians in Egypt, and so on.

If both Rajendra Chola and Mahmud of Ghazni engaged in a war then the fate of the Indian subcontinent history would have changed forever because the chola empire and ghaznavid empire reached the height of the power in 1030 AD.
If chalukyas can defeat Arabs then cholas can easily defeat ghaznavid but they never done.

Pakistan television companies & film industry should make historical serials similar to Al Tughral on our National hero’s we share with the Muslim world, heroes like Alauddin Khilji, Alkhwarizmi, Abu Sena, Rumi, Ghaznavi, Aurangzeb, Babar. Ghori, Idroos, Ibne Haithan, Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi, Amir Khusro, and many more. The dramas shown on TV have not helped in building character of youth and middle age people. They promote divorces, out of wedlock affairs, intrigues, bay hahayayi & make people delusional, and move people away from understanding the purpose of life, why are we here, why should we be righteous and selflessly help others, why should we forgive people who have been unjust with us, why should we submit to the will of Allah against all impulses.
