How dare Opie have the nerve to yell at Patrice for laughing too loud. Add that to the laundry list of reasons to hate him.
Opie has one of the most annoying voices and what's worse is he will randomly raise it two octaves when he gets excited. The irony of that mush mouthed fuck excoriating Patrice for laughing too loud is beyond comprehension.

Agreed, Opie who has zero charisma and the least contagious laugh on earth calling out Patrice’s laugh was enraging. Ant Jim and Patrice had the best laughs, the laugh alone could crack you up, sorry it’s not your grunt laugh Opie. Yuck.

This is one of my favorite Patrice moments. He’s SO happy that someone else knows his references from such an obscure source. That’s always a great feeling.

Patrice is obviously suffering from his diabetes in the beginning but he shows no signs in his work. blows my mind how he stays funny through all of his health issues.
Keeping your sense of humor during the taught times keeps you going. Not to mention the rush of making someone really laugh hard.
Completely agree with this. Supposedly (not an urban legend, multi-corroborated truth) Patrice's diagnosis surfaced because his then-relatively-new partner Vondecarlo Brown ('Von') was, uhh, partaking of yellow treats, and commented that the material in question tasted "sweet, like birthday cake." He was in much worse shape than he let on -- only let it slip via very occasional "man, I got five out of the six things that kill n*****s" deadpan. What a guy.

Simple, Patrice never watched his diet. You can live a long time with diabetes as long as you watch what you eat.
