- I go to one of Ibiza's most talked about movies & venues for a special Kevin & Perry anniversary / reunion at Amnesia Ibiza, Kevin & Perry Go Large is a 2000 British teen coming of age sex comedy film based on the Harry Enfield sketch Kevin the Teenager. The film was written by Dave Cummings and Harry Enfield and directed by Ed Bye. Enfield, Kathy Burke and Louisa Rix all return to their roles after previously appearing on Harry Enfield & Chums, the movie was famous around the world when Kevin and Perry traveld to Ibiza to in pursuit of their dreams to be super star dj's, most of the movie was shot at nightclub Amnesia Ibiza during their famous Cream Ibiza event, the lineup in 2022 consisted of djs such as Judge Jules, Ben Nicky, Lange, Seb Fontaine, Vicky Devine, Stephen Kirkwood & David Rust, as you can see from my Ibiza venue the night was a massive success, they will host a second Kevin and Perry event at Amnesia on TUESDAY 27 SEP 2022 with Judge Jules, Seb Fontaine, Lange, Lovley Laura, Ben Santiago, Brandon Block and Paul Taylor, if you'd like to go to this event please DM me on Instagram / dwaynemuffin

I'm speechless... tears in my eyes. Missing ibiza, this times and classic tunes so much. I was 18, year 2000, when i first visited ibiza and i came back over 20 times. I will be 40 in some days, and this vlog episode gives me power, motivation and flashbacks as f... THANKS DWAYNE ! Subscribed and thumbs up. Hope i return soon and maybe i see you 😉

I’m 48, old school Ibiza veteran. First trip was 1993. Good to hear the classic trance stuff from ‘99/‘00 there. Way better than the crap they play nowadays.

Hi im going to the September Kevin and Perry for my 40th. Always grew up djing this music and my dream was to be in Ibiza for first time by 30 years old. Was involved in a very bad car crash 2009 and that dream was shattered. But now things are better and I cannot wait to see the white Isle especially with this event. My bro was at this last night he is an ibiza regular.

Me and a couple of mates flew out for this. It was an absolute banging night and disappeared in a moment. Every video I see, I seem to have missed something, but honestly, we couldn’t have taken any more in. 41 years old and can still smash an all nighter!
this is the music that still needs to be played every summer it puts me off going because i know what they usually play these days
todays kids never knew what we had i dont know how they have put up with the likes of martin garrix hardwell all those crap djs over the past 10 years and even this new stuff now in clubs is not a patch on the 90s bangers

Agree Rob, just mentioned in a diff vid the same, I went 5 years in a row from 2009-2013, I'm now 33, from Dublin, Ireland, I would love to runit back! I'd love to play a part in re-discovering the magic of the island to what it was then (not saying we need to blow off any current Djs / genres, but I'd love to get 00's trance back on the scene somewhere.. mainly I just wanna get back there! Living life!

Was the age of trance music that's why it's what the island is about trance house music nothing better. Now the club scene doesn't compare to that era. You had big name djs banging out epic sets to crowds gagging for a euphoric rush. Shame cream was cancelled there.

Well, great video from Dwayne, as always and truly captures what an amazing night it was. . .
Goosebumps from start to finish and listening to Lange drop Follow Me (amongst others) brought tears to my eyes.
For all of us that grew up and experienced the prime era of trance - late 90s to early 00s - and thought that those days were gone forever, last night made you realise that you are still alive.
Each to their own, but I feel sorry for those that never experienced that magical era of trance and some of the absolute classics that were produced during that time.
Special mention to Lange, who, as always absolutely brought the house down with his set and Judge Jules; well, I hope the judge will never budge. A track list from front to back, loaded with nostalgia and brought back memories of times gone by when everything was so much simpler.
Tears from hearing the track of my youth played again 20 years later, but tears also because we are clinging on to events like these to ensure these tunes are not forgotten and also that those who were misfortune enough to have not lived it the first time, get an opportunity to hear what real trance music sounds like and not the over commercialised guff that is produced today.
Ayla, Follow Me, El Nino, Lizard, Toca Me (InPetto) . . . To name a couple. Hearing these last night brought so much nostalgia back it made my legs weak and my stomach churn, but for all of the right reasons.
I never thought it was possible to cry at the same time, through the sheer happiness of hearing these again . . . But also from pure sadness and despair, right in the pit of my stomach, that we are clinging onto those times.
Get your tickets booked for September. . . I can feel both the goosebumps building, the lump in my throat and my eyes tearing in anticipation.
These are the times we live for.

Great memories, 1999 we were in there. Seb Fontaine in the small room, Judge Jules, PVD and Paul Oakenfold in the main. Next night MTV in the rocks, Faithless live happy days. 52 now but still love the music.

I lived in Ibiza for eighteen years. I danced on the podiums of Pacha most weekends. I went for the partying, the dancing, etc. I left with the knowledge that partying brings no lasting happiness. I do not miss it at all.
