PTE 17: Find the ONE true correct answer! | Highlight Correct Summary

The PTE Academic is an English test for university entrance (& visas, in some countries, including Australia). It’s also known as the Pearson Test of English. It’s similar to IELTS, but some people find it easier to achieve a high score with PTE (it depends on your skills). I am so happy to find a coach like Pam, who focuses on the "content" of PTE, not on "templates" or "memorable phrases." I think templates are just a cat-and-mouse game between PTE and CZcamsrs; I took PTE recently and found that PTE put some tasks and topics in which we can not use templates.

Hi there thanks so much for this video, thats great! QUESTIONS: How much time do I have to choose the right answer after the recording has finished? Do I have to manage my timing here myself or is there a timer running giving me no more than 10 seconds for example like in some of the other tasks? If I understand it right some of the PTE tasks have given answer times and in others I have to watch the time my self - which are those? Thanks heaps!

Cheers! For Highlight Correct Summary, there's no timer. But you will have to answer quickly anyway because the audio won't be replayed so you need to answer before you forget! Timed Tasks are: essay, SST, SWT, Read Aloud, Describe Image, Re-Tell Lecture. The Reading Section is the trickiest re timing. No task has a specific set time, but there is a time limit for the entire section so you need to manage it yourself. Good luck!
