@@justiceavenger275 Originally, the battle cry “for Gilneas!” was used for the state of Gilneas, which remained isolated due to a massive attack by the Scourge. It was literally the only one kingdom in Lordaeron that managed to survive and become a last bastion of human civilization in these lands. Then after Third War they were even forced to completely leave their lands because of Sylvanas and her Undead. The Gilneas cry became even more relevant. And now they are going to liberate Gilneas together with the same Undead against whom they have been fighting all this time and because of whom they were forced to leave their lands. And they shout "For Gilneas" against the forces of the Scarlet Crusade, who are precisely fighting against that very Undead. Complete madness. Joke lore.

They were going to retake Gilneas in Shadowlands. There was no timeskip or the reclamation would’ve already happened.
